Reviews
I am sure the game could have been fun, but no updates from the developers, dead on release.
This one isn't a why is it in my library, but it was next up on the worst to best rated play order. So let's talk about Star Trek: Infinite in 2026. The game was simply a decent quality mod of Stellaris. While the base version of Stellaris it was built on was several versions old in 2023 there was still potential for this game. Nimble Giant had full access to do whatever they wanted with the game engine. So a game that was arguably worse in some ways than Star Trek mods for Stellaris still felt like there was potential for something great. The Stellaris engine can do a lot and tweaking it more and more to be Star Trek specific, not just in appearance but with some of the ways the rules work could have been awesome. What is there is still fun, I put a small number (by Stellaris standards) of hours into it, but it being abandoned by the developers is what killed it. It would still be worth like $5-$10 for what it is, but I don't like the idea of giving the devs who dropped it so quickly any support.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Eine Frechheit sondergleichen so eine unfertige Stellaris- Mod zum Vollpreis auf den Markt zu rotzen und dann innerhalb kürzester Zeit nicht mehr zu entwickeln.
Don't do it. Devs have completely abandoned the game, and it was never completed. A half-baked mod that they conned people into paying $30 for...
this failed.. if you are expecting a star trek themed stellaris experience let me just put this out.... can't even edit defense platform sections to get different sized weapons on the defense platforms... yeah, it failed.. and is abandoned. DO. NOT. BUY. i repeat, do not buy.
Die Entwickler haben das Spiel verlassen. Traurig. Ansonsten: Finger weg!

Really looked forward to this - preordered. I don't ever learn!
Oh, this is literally Stellaris, but limited to Star Trek... Just get stelaris
All the complexity of Stellaris with little of the joy. And yes, that's a lot of hours I've put in. Cheevos and stuff.
