Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 6.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Space Engineers 2 is currently a Playable Alpha In Active Development and already lets you begin building, surviving, and colonizing the Almagest System.
You arrive in the distant Almagest System on humanity’s first large-scale colonization mission. Your ship is damaged on entry, your tools are basic, and the planets below are beautiful but unforgiving. From here, everything you build is up to you.
Explore planets, moons, asteroid rings, and dense clusters. Mine resources, construct bases and starships, complete contracts, discover Datapads, trade, expand into new sectors, and push the frontier forward alone now, and later together with friends as co-op and large-scale multiplayer arrive over the course of Early Access.
Space Engineers 2 takes everything we have learned over the past 10 years and reimagines the space engineering experience with more depth, precision, and creative freedom than ever before. Powered by our new VRAGE3 engine, creation and destruction feel better than ever.
Build ships, stations, bases, and machines. Mine asteroids, reshape terrain, carve tunnels, damage structures, and experiment in a fully destructible sandbox where engineering decisions matter.
Whether you are a veteran Space Engineer or new to the series, Space Engineers 2 gives you a growing sandbox where your creativity can shine while the game continues expanding through Early Access.
Explore the next generation of construction with the 25 cm Unified Grid System. No more large-grid vs small-grid separation: blocks fit together seamlessly, making it easier to create detailed and functional builds.
Mounting point visualization, grid lines, improved controls, and more intuitive building tools help you design, adjust, and refine your creations with greater precision.
Space Engineers 2 introduces major building improvements such as Grid Undo, copy/paste, symmetry, blueprints, Projection Building, Backpack Building, Area Welding, refined CTRL controls, and improved rotation and zoom.
These tools are designed to make engineering smoother for both newcomers and experienced players, while preserving the depth and creativity that define Space Engineers.
Take your creations to new speeds with upgraded max velocity: characters up to 310 m/s and grids up to 300 m/s. Magboots and automatic jetpack activation help you stay in control while building, exploring, and moving around large constructions, platforms, ships, and asteroids.
Mechanical systems are also expanding. Rotors and Pistons are already available in the current Alpha, with wheels, hinges, warheads, and additional engineering systems planned for future updates.
We redesigned UI/UX to make building smoother and more intuitive for both newcomers and pros, giving more freedom to bring your intricate ideas to life. VRAGE3 is being optimized throughout Early Access; performance can vary by hardware, world size, and build complexity. As Early Access progresses, you’ll be able to build bigger ships, fly more of them, and enjoy epic destruction in a truly immersive ride.
The current Alpha already includes a real sandbox survival experience. Manage power, oxygen, hydrogen, and health. Mine resources, process materials, manufacture components, build production chains, complete contracts, earn credits, discover Datapads, and begin expanding colonization across the Almagest System.
These systems are playable today, but still growing. Long-term survival progression, deeper colonization, richer economy and contracts, NPCs, campaign content, co-op, multiplayer, and many additional systems will continue arriving during Early Access.
Enjoy the beauty of space, industrial designs, planetary landscapes, and destructive engineering with next-level realism. Space Engineers 2 introduces ray-traced global illumination, realistic shadows, a new skybox, tessellated voxel materials, parallax effects for armor, volumetric clouds, and many other visual improvements that bring depth and realism to every scene.
Bring your ideas to life and share your Blueprints and Worlds with the community through Steam Workshop integration. Explore a growing collection of creations from other players, find inspiration, and discover new engineering challenges.
Space Engineers 2 also supports advanced modding through the VRAGE3 Mod HUB and Mod Editor tools, giving creators more ways to shape the future of the game.

Well ... 500 hours+ into the game, I think that means I'm qualified to talk about it 😅 Its a great game, bugs exist but given its state as an Alpha I think that's acceptable, and honestly you can circumvent most issues with the debug menu so the game is certainly playable. I've done a couple of progression runs and one 200+ hour classic survival playthrough and nothing game breaking has cropped up. So if you're considering the game, just buy it, its a good price right now and Keen definitely deserves your support!
I'm absolutely amazed. I started in creative mode, designing some basic starter ships and getting a feel for the game. After a while, I decided it was time to jump into survival. About 20 hours after I first started the game, I left the first planet. That moment alone was incredible. I was flying in the early morning, climbing higher and higher until I started seeing the sunrise. Then I broke through the clouds and saw the Almagan system spread out across the sky, glowing in all kinds of colors. I just sat there for a moment, completely caught in the moment. The lighting in that Moment looked amazing. So beautiful. It felt real. Eventually, I reached the station. The first contract was a Transport contract. Naturally, with all the resources I'd already collected, I decided to take it. I headed toward the station through an asteroid field. Everything was going smoothly until I noticed an unknown signal nearby. So, of course, I went to investigate. But out of nowhere, my ship started taking damage. At first, I looked around and saw what seemed like a small meteor shower. My first thought was basically: "♥♥♥♥! Do I need a shield just to fly through space?" Then I looked forward and saw a ship. And the ship was shooting at me... I had no weapons. My first thought was to run. Unfortunately, my ship wasn't exactly built for escaping fighters. I was flying a bulky, slow cargo hauler. There was absolutely no way I was going to outrun that thing. So I thought: "Well... I have a big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cargo hauler." And I did the only reasonable thing. I flew straight into it. The impact was brutal. And honestly, it felt amazing. The collision smashed into the enemy ship hard enough to tear parts of it apart. The fighter started spinning uncontrollably, tumbling through empty space at incredible speed. And I just watched it tumble away. For a second, I wasn't even sure what had happened. I stopped my ship and looked at the damage. Nothing too serious—just some minor damage to the hull and one thruster. That's when I finally got a good look at what was happening. There was a destroyed ship nearby. Maybe the fighter had been scavenging the wreck. Maybe the wreck was the trap. Whatever had happened, I wasn't going to ask too many questions. I'm sorry for the unlucky guy who came before me... But in a harsh, unexplored system, you've got to do what you've got to do. So I salvaged everything worth taking. And now? I am in the middle of an Asteroid belt, completely unprepared. And somehow, I survived. I survived because i had absolutely no other option than to ram a fighter with my cargo hauler. I'm going to build an outpost. I'm going to defend myself. I'm going to upgrade my hauler. And I'm going to make damn sure I'm ready next time.

nice game
Birazcık SE oynamış biri olarak artık SE2 için olumlu yorumu yapmanın vakti geldi, Son 1 yılda gerçekten verdikleri sözleri tuttular, survival modu oynanabilir hale geldi. Devamı geleceğini umut ediyorum, Birazda SE2 oynadıkça review update yaparız artık.
I did not expect this thing to run on my machine, but holy smokes it runs like hot butter. My laptop pretends like it's going to melt, but the game runs smoothly on medium settings. I've got multiple warning messages as the game gravely dislikes my hardware, but in fact it runs better than SE1. So far I'm just 2.8h in the training mission, but I'll keep updating this as I go. So far I have some points where I was made happier, and some points that made me less happy: The happy: The base speed for vehicles is higher than SE1, the game runs really good, jetpack has infinite fuel on low speed (at least in training), things don't explode the second they touch something, basic building works with just raw ores, the engineer has 3 movement speeds, the gameplay feels a bit faster than SE1. The sad: The game feels a bit clunky, the controls don't quite respond readily which gives the gameplay a bit awkward feel. The hud and menus are terrible. Somehow the devs managed to take the SE1 hud and menus, throw out the good stuff and leave just the bad stuff. This makes the game feel like a small children's game - big gaps, big letters, high contrast, GPS markers are annoying and over all this whole part makes it difficult to navigate the menus and hud. I'd really appreciate if the general hud could pretend to be built in to edge of the helmet to both get it out of the way and just make it look better. The horizon indicator is the cherry on top in terms of being horrible, somebody get the devs a tour of an aircraft cockpit as the indicator right now is almost completely useless. Outside of that I'd appreciate the ability to hide GPS markers. I've looked for it and haven't found it. I understand the game is in development, but since this feature exists in SE1, I'd expect it here as well. Over all the game is decent so far, I'll have to test it further to see if it fixes some grievances I had with SE1, like gameplay speed.

Gierka zapowiada się bardzo dobrze, polecam przetestować i przy okazji wesprzeć twórców w rozwoju gry.
This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible and its still in alpha. I usually a multiplayer gamer, playing games like rust, ark, conan, palworld, satisfactory, arc raiders. This game doesn't have multiplayer, YET, and I couldn't care. Its so rewarding to get a basic quest, which you as a player turn into your own set of engineering problems. Each player might break the problems down differently, and the sandbox mechanics shine beautifully, you truly make your own story with what sort of infrastructure you focus on to achieve things. The ship building is so much fun. I feel like theres a couple sizes and shapes missing that I'd like to see in the future, a set of block between .5 and 2.5 to fill in the gaps, and window pieces/ slants are still a bit aids to work with. as they create air gaps you can't fill in because of voxel occupancy rules. The planetary scale of things, the fact that everything can be destroyed or changed to your liking. This game is brilliant can't wait for more updates to come through. Give me water biomes, fluid mechanics, fluid machines and systems that buff our ships, give me the ability to build underwater bases and subs and I'd never play another game!
