Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Soul Hackers 2 is pretty much bog, standard everything I hate about modern JRPGs (And modern RPGs in general). The gameplay is shallow, the level design is dreadful, full of pointless side quests, it has that moronic "Slash the enemy before battle to surprise attack", grinding for rare-drop crafting materials and it even has the newfangled crooked UI where it's more important to look stylish than be readable. But despite this, I'm enjoying my time with the game. The game moves at fast pace. I haven't had to stop and grind for levels (And I can ignore the crafting/items), the plot is a well-paced movie instead of an epic multipart special, and it just seems to know what it is. I likely only have ~5 hours left in the main story. The story is actually really good and I've enjoyed both the cast and the plot. This is a rare game that has a cast of adult character, that actually act like adults. While the tone is anime hopeful, it fully embraces that its a dark world. It doesn't ignore the fact that you kill human beings on your quest to save the world, the characters acknowledge it. My mind was blown when your main character mourn after an emotionally relevant boss battle. (15 seconds of mourning shouldn't be a surprise in a creative story format... but I've been playing games for decades now and I've mostly given up on game writing) - - - Dungeons - - - The main story dungeons are alright once I realized what they were. These are not well-designed and interesting levels showcasing varied parts of a world, but pure 1985 dungeon crawler mazes. You explore long hallways connecting empty rooms. But it lacks many of the puzzles and gimmicks that allowed the dungeons to be engaging in the better of those games. The dungeons just feel very same-y and you really have to be an old-school dungeon crawler to enjoy them. Thankfully, I am. But it's worse than just each dungeon having a similar feeling with a changed tile set. I cleared the SUBWAY DUNGEON to unlock: - A side dungeon (A subway) - The next story map (Also a subway). I wasn't really bothered by that because these levels flowed just fine and they end fairly fast. They do what they need to do. But the "optional' side dungeon, The Soul Matrix, is freaking dreadful. Three identical large dungeons with 4 or 5 floors each... of endless hallways and no meaningful cutscenes in between. I've spent more time in this dungeon than any other part of the game, and every minute of time there has been depressing. The worst part is that I need to complete these dungeons to get the true ending. :/ - - - Combat - - - Combat is exactly what you'd expect from Atlus and, really, modern RPGs in general, all the combat depth of a preschooler playing with a shape puzzle. Use the fire attack on the fire hole, and the ice attack on the ice hole. The more times you hit (stack) weaknesses... the more powerful a supermove (called a sabbath) you do at the end of each turn. Over time, you'll unlock personal skills that add more weakness stacks per hit. The real problem here is that, unlike many Atlus game, you play by a different set of rules from the enemy. The bonus sabbath attack is so heavily stacked in your favor that there is no other way to play the game. Knowing how shallow and easy combat is, most of the bosses I've encountered have been built around 1 annoying move each. For example: "This boss puts you to sleep", "This boss steals mana", "This boss summons allies", and "This boss can be immune to its elemental weakness". I think the intention is that you're supposed to create a unique party to each boss to not be annoyed... but that's stupid. There is absolutely lots of systems to play with and cool things you CAN do, but there's zero reason to do so. Between the extreme reliance on elemental weaknesses and Atlus' absolutely dreadful damage formula that assigns too much value to your raw level... none of the micromanaged systems actually matter. - - - Quality Of Line - - - The final thing I want to mention is that the Quality of Life features are absolutely excellent. - You can fast-forward all cutscenes and the battle animations. - You can skip long battle animations such as the Sabbath attacks. - The "Ally/Treasure Box" system allows you to reenter any dungeon and easily collect money/items/allies every time you enter - It drops LOADS of money and XP naturally - You can activate healing skills of monsters that aren't equipped (Or just hit "Auto-heal") - There's free DLC for easy XP grind (Which I haven't needed) About my only complaint is that I can't pause the game and view the entire map. But I have a minimap I can scroll... so its a small problem. I feel like the game isn't wasting my time and it makes me far more happy to deal with the negatives. - - - Overall, I'd rate this game as a 6/10 with some wiggle room. If you like old-school dungeon crawls or modern JRPG trends it's better. If you want interesting level designs, a large cast or a deep story with lots of world-building... it'll be worse.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Gran juego. La historia está interesante y entretenida. Los personajes y la relación entre ellos es bastante buena. Hace falta más de esa escritura en la saga,
I'm very confused about this so far. I will later edit if I should finish this. So first impressions: I really dont like the maincharacter that "I am supposed to be" I dont like the attitude, snarkiness, and the english voice version is even worse. So i restarted with japanese voices (which I usually ALWAYS play on.) but....This leads to a strange feeling of disconnect for me. I am not able to dive into the world or Story very well, infact I feel very far away from it and find myself "observing" a bunch of Characters I dont like.... very strange. That has never happend to me in an Atlus game before... Which saddens me greatly cuz i really love most of them, that i played. and all of them that I have finished. I hope i will be able to connect in the following playtime..... Strange.
My expectations were low due to people getting mad about this game but it's...not bad? Kind of good, even? It's obviously very very underbudgeted but there's a decent game here and the skeleton of a great one if they were just willing to commit to it. The story's somewhat abridged and to-the-point but it works well enough and the VAs put in a herculean effort to make the most out of it. The dungeons are bad but battle-wise it tries quite a few new things with mixed results. Moving the damage boost skills to a new accessory slot is a great idea that cuts a lot of the busywork out of fusion and opens the door to some new strategies and being without Press Turn means that you fundamentally have to approach battles differently from the usual, but being stuck with a 4-man party rather than (turn-based) Devil Summoner's usual 6 makes the lack of Press Turn hit harder. Demon skillsets being completely customizable(including their starting skills, which was reserved for the end of endgame in SMT V) is a double-edged sword, once you have everyone's roles sorted out there's not much reason to change them and the skill slot crunch hurts quite a bit even with boosters-as-accessories taking some of the load off there. There's a lot of interesting new skills that you won't really be able to make use of unless you're constantly switching demons which has it's own limitations. On the bright side the game's actually fairly generous with money(which is an SMT rarity) so you have more room to experiment. Overall I think it's pretty decent and worth your time if you're an SMT fan, and worth a go for anyone if you get it on sale.
I finally beat the worst atlus game of all time. I'd rather stick nails up my toenails and kick a wall repeatedly so I could never walk again, than do a second playthrough of this ♥♥♥♥ ass game. 2/10, I'd recommend this game to those who are depressed, so they can accelerate their will to die. This game blows and Atlus was doing crack when developing this game. i'll give it some credit, it is better than expedition 33.
本来想肝个白金,突然发现二周目还得全支线直接劝退。
Had fun playing this. I wish there was more characters to pick from, I don't like Arrow and would have liked to delete him from my team.
I enjoyed Soul Hackers 2 maybe for the most astute Atlus fan it may seem like a step down from the Persona series or SMT mainline series but it has heart and I'm glad I got to see what kinda heart Ringo and her friends had at the end of the day . Thumbs up for Soul Hackers 2
