Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

If you expect a Civ3/4/5 gameplay, just pass. Don't waste your time and money. Wait for another two, or I don't know how many years, of these pitiful kindergarten-oriented sequels, until these folks realize that they took the wrong turn. It's not a strategy. It's not a Civilization. Boring, linear and thoughtless gameplay. Pure disappointment. Play Civ5 and hope for the bright future (this is not it, 4sure),
Absolutely trash. Ruined the series. Peeked at Civ 5 has just continued to go down. Terrible victory progresses. Civ 5 had the perfect victory settings. No real resources to effect units or buildings. Glad I got this on sale because this just continues the pattern of game companies ruining there games by not listening to the fans that have been playing for decades.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Of the 6 markets with a position on both sides, 4 climbed and 2 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I would pass on it. Even after all their backtracking trying to make the game playable from is abysmal launch state, its still pretty awful. It is as if a third party phone developer tried to make a PC platform rip-off of Civ... I could go into extreme details about why this game is extremely subpar... but honestly, if you like CIV, just keep playing VI. This game will just make you angry, then force you back to VI anyways.
Fun, but lacking, in my opinion. ( very recently ~July 2026 purchased, read too many nightmare stories at launch.) The UI is not intuitive, and in some cases just straight up confusing, as many people have reported. There's at least one button that does not seem to serve any purpose. (Form alliance with city state) If you left click when you should've right clicked, or vice versa (still can't remember), you are locked into a decision, rather than having a confirm button. (Resource allocation) Wondering what potential gain/loss there will be when you change policies? Too bad! Gotta hope for the best. (At least I think... not clear in the UI if there's actually a way to compare.) Resource allocation in general, not always clear what can go where. There are icons that will eventually make sense, but why not make the icons match in the screen where you drag the resources? At one point, I literally had a merchant pop up in the middle of the ocean, no idea why/how. This is still not a polished game. But go ahead and sell $5-40 dlcs for it that add content on top of the funky foundation, rather than fixing the foundation itself. All of that said: I'm glad they released hotseat, and it works well. My wife and I have been playing, but I think we'll go back to Civ 6, since it's far more polished, and has way more content. I want to be soooo clear- I am not one of those "classic" players. I do not go back to the old version because of the nostalgia. (WoW, RS for example.) I believe in updated systems, streamlined UI/gameplay. This game rarely feels like an upgrade over 6. My list of 'pros/upgrade': Tile choice at expansion. Fewer cities to manage. Graphics. (Only half care, though. High resolution AI poop is still poop.) If you get this for like 80% off, go for it and try it but don't expect toooooo much until there are more core game UI updates.
W epoce antyku odkrywasz i zaludniasz swój kontynent.
Feel a bit scammed, was charged full price for an incomplete game... no modern military, oversimplified politics and game play. Should have just remastered Civ Vi.
Also a long time Civ Player here. This game is a waste of time. Its just boring. I dont even want to spend the time on proper feedback. See for your self.
Imagine playing Civ V or VI and restarting every time you go into a new era. This game is just confusing and disorientating, and the UI is not helping.
Meta progression? Absolutely horrible boxy, bland, brown UI? Confusing changes to gameplay, especially to city building - needing to drop gold on new settlements to turn them into cities else they can't use production? No British civs or leaders? I got as far as needing to assign resources to settlements for bonuses before giving up..
Dear Civilization VII Support Team, I am writing to formally report a serious bug that has significantly impacted my gameplay experience, and to express my deep frustration with the current state of the game. In my recent playthrough, I successfully completed the "Imperial Treasury" tribute event. The system clearly confirmed it as completed. However, when I advanced to the next era, the tribute option did not appear at all. I had invested a tremendous amount of time spreading my religion to every civilization in the game, specifically to secure top-tier bonuses in the final age. All of that effort was rendered completely wasted due to this bug. To make matters worse, I later learned that this is a known issue. The fact that such a game-breaking bug remains unaddressed is utterly unacceptable. I want to be clear: I am not a casual player. I have been a loyal and dedicated player since the day of launch. I purchased the Founders’ Edition of Civilization VII, and I also bought the recently released DLC to show my continued support. In return, I am met with sloppy quality control and a frustratingly broken experience. This is not the standard I expected from Firaxis, nor is it what I paid for. I kindly request that your team prioritize fixing this issue as soon as possible, and I would appreciate a response regarding whether there is any workaround or plan to compensate affected players. I remain a fan of the franchise, but my trust has been severely shaken. I hope you will take this matter seriously.
