Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A cool concept that ultimately is improved upon in more modern games with mods

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks
Terrible resulution. I have troubles to read the text. And when changing the resolution, you cannot read anything any more. Could not even play it because of it. Games like CK2 solved this a lot better.
Mostly played this in the beta (for which I was a tester), finally got around to buying the full release in 2025. I think this game is decent if you view it as a fancy version of Risk and don't consider it "Grand Strategy" as the other Pdx inhouse titles. I personally mod down the honor requirements for declaring war in defines.lua to something like: DECLARE_WAR_INTERACTION_HONOR_BASE_COST = 3, DECLARE_WAR_INTERACTION_HONOR_EXTRA_COST = 5, This game at the heart is a war game and I think it's ineffectual to stifle it so hard (and it's mainly the small clan starts that suffer).
Sengoku is a Paradox-style grand strategy game set in feudal Japan, focusing on clan politics, warfare, and intrigue. It’s got that deep, complex gameplay that fans of the genre love, but with a unique twist on Japanese history. The atmosphere and setting are really cool — managing samurai clans, dealing with shifting alliances, and trying not to get you killed feels immersive. But the UI and mechanics can be confusing, and the game sometimes feels a bit clunky compared to other Paradox titles. It’s definitely not a beginner-friendly game, and you’ll need patience to get used to the systems. But if you’re into deep strategy and want a different take on the genre, Sengoku delivers a solid experience. Final score: 7/10 Not perfect, but worth a shot if you like grand strategy and Japanese history.
