Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 11 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A lot of people will disagree, but imo this is the best Europa game out there. Based off EU2, it has over 10,000 events and a timeline from 1399 all the way to 1821. if you can look past graphics it'll certainly be an enjoyable game. oh and Byzantium forever!
• This is the best game out of the franchise. EU3 and 4 complicated things to a degree where I no longer had fun with it. This game is not easy, but it's a lot of fun. • The game will crash on you every now and then (it's an old game). Make sure you save your game often!

I wanted to play EU2 again. I bought EU2 on GOG but frankly that version runs ass without resolution changing support. For the Glory seems better. Otherwise, why play EU2 when there are EU3, EU4, EU5? Because simplicity has a charm. The depth is real, not lots of added complexity for the sake of it.
The best Europa Universalis game since EU2. Forget about EU IV, worship the only and true EU game: For The Glory!
Play this instead of EU I or II
The best Europa Universalis game, now with patches after so many years.
very good
Is kind of hard, but way more interesting than EUIII or EUIV were. Large amounts of historical events in the limited amount of time I've played. Comparable to a darkest hour type experience.
Great classical game for all EU series lovers. Glad that it's still supported and updated!
Played Europa Universalis 2 and this is just as good. I would have liked to see the programmer add in a converter to move the game to Victoria: Revolutions.
