Great FUN
haven't been so addicted in a while. must buy, if you like the setting. graphics are decent. combat system is surprisingly fun - love the ability to parry and counter attack. music gets repetitive, but i play mushishi's soundtrack in the background lots of different buildings and decorations to make authentic-feeling japanese villages economy is fairly interesting My biggest gripe is that you can currently can only equip villagers with weapons - would be great if they'd expanded this to equipping armour and maybe even a skills system.
I just found this game and so far, not only is it beautiful, but I can see my self sinking a lot of hours in to it!
The male character on the cover art for the game is wearing his katana wrong. Katanas are to be worn with the edge of the blade facing up, not down. Broke my immersion before I hit play, 0/10 UPDATE: they fixed it.
I dont know how this game is not more popular. more people need to give it a shot and people on the fence need to dive in.

Nice immersive game with historical feel. There's some limitation and I've found that it gets stuck at points. There's also some lag. I've tried playing with other users but it gets very laggy and choppy very fast. Not great performance in some places. That said, as a casual player without a high danger level, it's a nice escape to a settlement builder type game. Looks lovely.
