In spite of the final boss, this is a great spin-off set between Resident Evil 4 and 5. A personal favorite character design, Rachel, is exclusively in this game, and the game itself plays very well while making a few changes. You don't have the RE4/5 inventory system, and you can find/unlock weapon upgrades in the campaign, while scanning the environment with a camera tool to find extra ammo and scanning enemies to get health replenishing items. It strikes an interesting balance in the overall experience, and the story has some tropes but all of them suit the Resident Evil series very well. All in all, if you've been a fan of any games in the series, give this one a shot, it's a fantastic fusion of the Resident Evil 2/3 survival horror experience, with the supernatural action of Resident Evil 4.

A BRILLIANT game all round classic resi feel to the story. I played this game years ago on the xbox 360 but didnt finish it i dont know why ive only just got round to finishing this game now its a gem
Not the best Resident Evil game, but it isn't bad by any means. This is a port of a 3DS game, and it definitely feels like it. Not really in a bad way, it's just different. This is kind of a mix of survival horror and action. I enjoyed the setting a lot, and I loved playing as Jill and Chris again. It's always great to see them. Didn't really care for the story or the new characters, but the gameplay was kind of like if you took Resident Evil 4 controls and put them in a survival horror game, and I thought mixing the 2 was pretty awesome. By far the worst part of this game was the AI companion. Sheva in Resident Evil 5 is an actual god by comparison. You're lucky if your AI partner even shoots their gun in this game. Overall, if you're looking for more Resident Evil, this is a good choice, but it is far from the best in the franchise. Just a decent, 6 or 7/10 game. I liked it.

if i played this on the 3ds i would have wet myself. great game, has jill and chris in it (and its good chris not reddit chris) which is great because I like both of those guys. Easily most gooned game in the series which I dont really have a problem with but it feels like it was injected after the fact. Make her have a wetsuit that has a cap but is missing a leg so she has half her ass out myes. Make her flirt with chris myes. I like Parker, hes like the best parts of a russian japanese and italian man, VA must have been spinning the dice on his race. Hilarious. one of the best final bosses in the whole series, really like the weapon mods as well. game it cutscene heaven, and the loading zones add character and everyone who complains about them is stupid. what if the evil residents were the society 2, so you can mentally revisit that thinking point.
