Before the mansion, before the destruction of Raccoon City, there was Resident Evil 0. Now remastered with improved visuals and sounds, as well as the all-new Wesker Mode, there's never been a better time to experience the origins of the Resident Evil story.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

juggling items the whole time is to annoying. canceled.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.38/day in the week to Jul 21 → 11.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

DISCLAIMER: Played on Normal. I gave in part-way through and used some QOL mods to play this without losing too much time backtracking or re-doing the same stuff. Pros: + Impeccable atmosphere & visual design, it's grimy, it's dark, it gets you into a certain mindset; + Though it's old, I haven't encountered issues with crashes or bugs on a newer system; + Story's pretty goofy but in an enjoyable way; + There's very few dogs; + The puzzles can be pretty fun, even if some are obscure; + You get quite a bit of ammo to defend yourself, but it's still recommended you don't kill EVERYTHING. Cons: - The game is evil. Not even as a meme, the developers consistently made evil decisions in regards to how they'd split your characters apart, or the kinds of enemies they'd throw at you out of nowhere, or being given a timer and being told to solve a puzzle after you get through a bunch of zombies (you haven't saved in the last half hour btw!), etc. - Lack of an item box. This is mentioned often and for good reason - I spent more time moving around, watching the door cinematic, and dropping off items than playing the game at some point before installing a mod for it (which still required moving items around, just less so, like the HOOKSHOT) - The bat boss is terrible to fight without stun-locking or cheesing in other manners; - Limited saves. Yeah, this is also in Resident Evil 1, and somehow it feels more forgiving there (probably because you can just store the ink ribbons in a box and take them out when you want to save, not carry them around). For a first time player, you simply don't know when to save, so you end up saving too early, and later get sent back 30 minutes of gameplay, or save too late, and don't get sent back at all. - You consistently have to move your characters one by one lest the AI-controlled one get grabbed or mess up somehow. Despite all the cons, I do recommend it simply because I did enjoy it in the end WITH QOL mods as I mentioned. It simply wastes too much of your personal time otherwise, at least for the first run.
This is one of those games I wish I could give a neutral rating. There's many good things about the game but ultimately is hampered down by "old school" game mechanics. The controls are bad, the inventory management is horrible and the save system makes the game a chore to play. If your used to this type of game and can do without the quality of life, it's great fun. You push yourself to memorize the map, devise a strategic plan on how to efficiently move through the areas and also avoid battles that waste ammo and health. The more you play, the better you get at it and so on. BUT, if your not one of those Dark Souls no damage speed runners, this game might just make you angry and give up. Most encounters will have enemies off screen and you can't tell what your shooting at. You miss attacks, you get stun locked by fast enemies and must restart from your manual save and remember all the things you need to redo. This is definitely not a chill game to play. So to summarize, if you like a challenge and are willing to retry several times to get the optimal run. Get it. If you've been pulled into the RE universe and enjoyed the newer titles, this game might be worth it at a deep discount.
ГЕЙмплей за гаубицу очень понравился, поэтому дропнул
Rebecca "Walk 'Em Down" Chambers survives this entire game over the course of 24 hours with no food, no water, and no sleep. She kills
the Prototype Tyrant
, assists Billy in killing the
Queen Leech
, and then immediately gets thrown into Resident Evil 1 without a break, bringing her total time awake to nearly 48 hours. Let her solo RE10, I know she can do it.
If there were an item box at every other type writer my overall opinion of this game would be alot more positive. Asides from that the games alright, not as good as RE1 or RE1 remaster though.
I don't hate this game.Infact I would love it a lot if it weren't for a bunch of things in the gameplay that make the game incredibly anoying to play. First of all the camera. Not being able to even see your enemy while fighting them is incredibly annoying and trying to collect items of the floor is way more complicated then the fricking bossfights.Talking about items, There are no item boxes in this game,so you just have to drop anything you don't need on the floor and backtrack through the whole place to find it again. It's by far the most annoying flaw of the game. But the game has huge potential with its locations and story and it's two likeable characters Rebecca and Billy.I heard that Capcom is making a Remake of this one and I really hope that that is true because this game has huge potential to be absolutely amazing ,but its stopped from that with the gameplay.I would give this game a 5.6/10 right now
overhated, very fun and challenging if you dont mind backtracking.
