red death ticks a lot of boxes for this shump fan, it has a four tone colour palette, retro style pixel graphics and a punishing difficulty that will keep you coming back for more :-) https://youtu.be/veJ_Gv7WsQI
Its fine for $1. No point picking any weapon besides the laser. Non Skippable text and a point in the story where your literally sitting still for like 5 minutes straight with nothing happening, really slow down the experience. Game also crashed after the 3rd level with a weird overheating error message after that popped up from the game and then I kind of just gave up on it on that point. I got my dollar worth out of it I guess but I can't recommend...
游戏黑洞玩也太难了(;′⌒`)
Shallow arcade shooter with repetitive bullet patterns, poor writing, and overall disappointment.
for the price its alright
就游戏而言12mb的容量做到这种地步可以说很精致了,就是很难,建议想玩的思考一下好了
Already quite an improvement over the first Project Starship (released less than a year earlier), it has no roguelite elements. The story is very simple but the atmosphere is more serious and grim, with the pilot being related to one of the original characters, apparently it runs in the family to fight eldritch gods on starships. There is still a button to cause a slowdown but it's nowhere as marked as in PS. Collecting bonuses allows to fill up a meter to unleash an Overload, temporarily getting the full power of the weapons. As it can be noticed in the screenshots, the graphics have a simple yet incredibly stark style, based on the use of a few colors; most of the time I think there's no more than four on screen. It's a very short game - it can be finished in 15 minutes - but equally difficult, one of those true bullet hells with projectiles filling up the screen, for skilled danmaku enjoyers who will surely like a quick fix for such a ridiculous price.
