Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really enjoyed this game. More of an older style adventure game with hogs, but the hogs were quick(easy to find items with the helpful magnifying glass accessory) and fascinating as all the items were of the period and beautifully depicted. The story was engrossing and I didn't want it to end, which sadly it does, on a cliffhanger. This developer (Gogii games)is Canadian (like me!), and I feel proud , as it can't have been easy, competing with the big name developers of the time. I will definitely play it again.

DON'T BUY IS NOT FULL GAME. The game is not full it ends with a cliff hanger and there is NO SEQUEL. It was a good game and there is quite a bit to it. However one of the comments posted a response from a Dev saying they ran out of money and never finished the game or made a sequel.
Yes.
pros + good looking and detailed graphics + puzzles are enjoyable. you can also collect ingridients and make potions + creepy atmosphere. i like Louisiana setting + voodoo story is intriguing + hidden object elements are fun. + hint system very helpful + there is auto save cons - game could have been longer. - there are no steam achievements - game doesn't drop cards. - abrupt cliffhanger ending is rushed and clearly designed to set up a sequel.
a nice HOG with an abrupt ending. pros. nice story ok music cons. as the ending got juicy it gets an abrupt ending.... it just says to be continued? there is no second part for this game. very easy no voice acting apart from the opening cut scene short (2 hours for the main story) no bonus story despite those cons i did enjoy the game. i recommend it. though for being short and not really having an ending i only recommend getting it on sale. 5/10
I’d probably go with a mixed review if I could. The hidden object scenes are okay, but the point and click adventure part has some pixel hunting and there is no instant travel map or even a regular map. The setting is 19th century New Orleans where you have to save the city from evil forces that use voodoo. Fortunately, you have begun learning voodoo yourself and are able to pick up a few spells along the way. It’s an interesting premise, but I’ll go with a thumbs down because the story is incomplete. The game ends on a cliffhanger and they never made a sequel. This game was released in 2011 and runs okay under Windows 10. The version sold on Steam is the ordinary edition, not the collectors’ edition with a bonus chapter. The bonus chapter was added in the middle though, so both versions have the same cliffhanger ending.
Save New Orleans from A Dark Voodoo Curse
Continuing my trend of playing hidden object adventure games, I decided to try this one after an okay experience with The Fog. This one felt even more fitting for the Spooky Season, which was really lovely. Set in 19th-century New Orleans, we play as a young girl named Lillian, who is being mentored to use her magical abilities by Marie Laveau, the most powerful voodoo priestess around. However, as we are being taught, an evil and mysterious curse is set upon the entire town, putting each person into a deep sleep-like state and trapping their souls in the spirit world. It’s up to us to save everyone before everything becomes lost in darkness. Throughout our adventure, we will learn spells and create potions that will help with a variety of tasks, from getting objects to returning people’s souls and much more. Can we save our teacher and lift this awful curse for good? Compared to other HO adventure games, this one felt slightly different, especially in terms of the graphics, but I don’t know if that’s due to the game's age. I really liked how this felt and thought its use of atmosphere was well done. It captured the spooky vibe that I was looking for. In addition to these aspects, I found the story to be intriguing and very engaging, and I wanted to learn more as I went along. However, I will note that the story does feel a little rushed by the end, and the game is definitely a short experience. As a spoiler,
it makes sense that it is this way because the game ends with a “To Be Continued…” message, so there was meant to be a sequel.
Sadly, I found out that the team who made this parted ways with Gogii Games right after this came out, so we’ll most likely never see a follow-up. I can’t lie and say that it isn’t disappointing, as the story had so much more potential. If only they had been given more time and funds to complete this. Other than this, I found the minigames and hidden object scenes to be fun to play. The scenes were a little tricky in terms of finding objects, but the game has a cool feature that allows the cursor to turn into a magnifying glass. That was a neat and handy feature. I also found the potion-making element of this to be cool. All in all, I enjoyed the game despite specific problems, but that isn’t the fault of the developing team. I would still recommend getting this game when it’s on sale as it isn't complete.
4 out of 5 ★★★★☆!
This game has a lot of potential and I actualy really enjoyed it until the story line was cut short with a "TO BE CONTINUED" .... total bummer there.
