Railroads Online

lots of bugs (even more in multiplayer, to the point where only the host can refuel lokomotives...) and overall rather bad performance even with a decently good pc but overall its a fun game with friends especially. heres hoping the devs fix most of the issues in upcoming updates

its fun, its made by a very very small team so give grace. I just want a sandbox mode or no cost mode so i can mess around and see other custom worlds people have made like premade maps

Captures the frustration of derailing a fully loaded 30 car train down the side of a mountain better than any other game. Jokes aside, 10/10 all around.

There's something about this game that really draws me in, and I'm not quite sure why. It's probably not the best game for building a railroad network, but it has a certain character. Playing with friends is a bonus, but I find it really shines when creating new (rail) lines. And, even after the track laying is finished, there are still large engines available to pull extremely long trains.

Very enjoyable to play single player once you've built a decent size railroad. Multiplayer is where the FPS drop cause "bouncy" trains and some other minor glitches. Pretty great game although it could use some updates soon for the few minor bugs. Looking forward to updates and more content

Game's a dead end with no real dev support and has some issues, but can be fun. Much more fun with friends. I cant in good conscience recommend you buy it though. It's a little overpriced for the buggy mess you get and I kind of regret buying it. There's also a clear lack of QOL features and some aspects of the game are just... Silly. And not in a good way. Rather than go to the effort of modelling procedural bridge trusses, they're just a solid part that you can build infinitely tall or long bridges that float over canyons with? And they don't even look good, it looks like a part off of a child's trainset. The game is also poorly optimized. It looks alright, but the second you run a train with more than 15 cars you regret your life decisions up to the point of buying this game. Also, the soundtrack is ass. Soulless garbage music. It wasnt always this way, someone actually made a very nice OST for it years ago, but for whatever reason the developer decided after a certain point that they just... Didnt want to use it anymore? And replaced 30 enjoyable songs with like 3-5 garbage songs. ♥♥♥♥ move. If you're looking for a game like this, I suggest you push this game aside and wait. There's a game called Century of Steam that's being made right now that'll blow this game out of the water when it releases. I recommend playing Railroader in the mean time, the game is far more enjoyable, runs better and has a good dev team.

this is a amazing railroading game it although it could have say a sandbox mode (or a better one at least) I feel being able to say add points and drawing tracks between the points points would be good but still a amazing game
