Un excelente plataformero que mantiene la esencia de su precuela, que ya era un juego excelente a pesar de todos los años que han pasado. En general, la jugabilidad mejora un montón, la historia se toma más enserio, los temas que se representan en su diseño de niveles están muy bien planteados. Se siguen destacando mucho las interacciones entre personajes pues puedes conocer más de ellos si los buscas por el mapa. El único problemilla que le veo, es la implementación de pines, que en realidad está muy bien, pero me parece absurdo que solo te dejen equipar 3 con la tremenda cantidad que se puede conseguir, también me hubiera gustado ver más acción de los Psychonauts como agentes (como la misión del casino) y que no todo se desarrollara de manera más secreta por Ford y Razputin. Pero en general un juego bastante recomendado, si te gustan los plataformeros en 3d es casi obligatorio tener que jugarlo, pues al igual que el anterior, es un juego que destaca muchísimo dentro de un género que tiene a un gigante de la industria (Mario).

best 3d platformer ever probably

I'd say this is the best platformer of the decade, but The Big Catch is coming out sometime this year so this gets second best. However that's not to say this game doesn't absolutely slap. The gameplay feels very smooth with a perfect blend of combat and platforming, something quite uncommon for 3d platformers. The game design/graphics are absolutely fantastic, the devs continuing to use that early 2000s Nickelodeon cartoon look for the world and characters from the first game but updating them to look far more polished than ever is simply brilliant. The levels are also well crafted and somehow more unique than the ones from the first game, such examples being the bowling level and Psi King's level both having great platforming, looks, and story telling. Speaking of story, it expands on the first game ten fold with new characters, a bigger world, and more lore. Not to mention that the characters themselves are as funny as in Psychonauts 1, each with very charming personalities. Finally the music is incredible, the ost follows a sort of spy thriller feel similar to the first game, but since the devs have a bigger budget they were able to get a whole orchestra for the music, further adding to the jazz elements of some of the songs such as in the casino level. My only negatives about this game would be some bugs that I found, they weren't at all game breaking, it was just a few jitters here and there for the most part. If you like Platformers, I would HIGHLY reccomend getting this game, 10/10
