Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

5/10 I think this was this studios first attempt at a game like this, so Imma cut 'em some slack. I appreciate indie studios venturing out into new territory. The best part of the game by far was the art, especially the cut scenes. The in game art and design had a nice and unique type vibe to it too. The gameplay was a little stiff for my liking and imo, you feel way too weak for way too long in this game. After you beat one of the bosses you get the ability to upgrade your health and the number of healing items you can carry. Once you unlock a few of those upgrades the game starts to feel a lot better and much more enjoyable. Your combat upgrades on the other hand kinda feel underwhelming. You don't really upgrade your weapons strength, but slots that allow you to apply upgrades to your character, which didn't really seem impactful to me. Even after I found an item that strengthens your attack, it didn't really feel like it made a difference. Most of the game felt like a slugfest just smashing away and dodging for hours on end. I think its important to realize that perrying and deflecting attacks is the back bone of combat otherwise you might be in a for a nasty time. The back tracking and exploration felt a bit lackluster too. And I feel like the map and fast travel points could have been better. Overall, not a terrible game, but probably one you're gonna wanna pick up on sale and let sit in your back log for a bit.

I thought this was really good! Very inspired by Hollow Night, enough difficulty to get my heart going but not quite as difficult as hollow night. Story was good but there wasn't a good introduction in the beginning to the main goal. I swear there was in the demo ironically. I also wish there was more written, dynamic dialogue reacting to changes in the story, whether it be from Rehm or the NPCs. Overall, quite good 9/10. Gameplay is quite grindy for upgrading new weapons. I found myself just sticking to the starting weapon because I didn't want to spend time grinding to upgrade other weapons. Map design was great and loved the map markers. Your respawn point being highlighted is a nice touch. Overall, 9/10 for me. Maybe it's recency bias, but I definitely think this game deserves more love.
Pretty good, could've been great. I enjoyed the art, atmosphere and soundtrack. The story had some good moments. Combat, though repetitive, is satisfying. Would've liked to see voice acting, bigger enemy variety (it has close to 10-15 enemies, similar to the amount of bosses). Parts of the story were bland; some mechanics were a little weird (jumping on "springs") or even buggy (conveyer belts were taking effect in mid-air), but they were in small chunks. (Apparently) Developer had financial problems and layoff close to launch, yet luckily managed to release an enjoyable product. Overall: pretty good.
Possessors was very, very good. It was far from perfect. And it had a budget of $5. But it was very good. The story was compelling, the combat was fun, the characters were interesting, the music was beautiful. And it hit so so so close to home for me. I havent cried that hard in a while. Very much recommended from me. If you come in expecting hollow knight like some other reviewers I've seen, you'll be disappointed. But if you come in expecting a good game and a good story, you'll leave more than satisfied.
