Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bom jogo, divertido.
7 out of 10. A good game but shows it was a budget project. The visuals are interesting, artstyle completely checks out with the colours really popping out of the darker backgrounds, and the back-and-forth bickering between Luca and Rhem was fun and felt real. They spoke like actual people rather than characters. Descriptions and the mentions of what the rest of the world was like made me interested in any lore drops. What dissappointed me a little was that the characters you encounter and seem interesting like Tens or enemies you spare have no real relevance on the story later on and don't reappear again. The combat was decent for smaller enemies, and the baseball bat was super satisfying to use with the sounds it used. As far as difficulty goes, I've found it notably easier than metroidvanias like Hollow Knight games and Nine Sols. There's some big annoyances, however. Like that you can get stunlocked at all. Not every metroidvania has to be Silksong, but even that game known for its difficulty lets you recover mid-air and gives you a second of invincibility to reposition. In Possessor(s) you *must* hit the ground to get out of the stunned state, and even then you can still take damage before you get up and you can't do anything about it! This is especially infuriating when you're trying to climb a platforming area and one flying enemy can send you all the way to the bottom. And this is without getting into being given a parry ability in a game that seems to have less frames of animation than you see in claymation/stop motion animation. The other major complaint I have is the lack of clarity in what you can or can't parry, as it took me a bit to realize why I kept being damaged by dark red projectiles. Speaking of movement, which is so-so. The grapple is cool and satisfying, but the crumbling platforms are especially finicky that you can't jump off them after landing if you're too on the edge, and then there's the...air sprint. This is one of those bits that feels like they tried doing something new but only made it annoying to use especially with the double-tap dodge control. I'd rather have had a plain double jump. I mostly enjoyed the game, but the buggy moments were annoying, like the times you're trying to jump to a room above and the game can't decide which room you're in or it seems hard to climb for some reason and glitching into the walls because of it. The game is a solid 8 kind of game, if only it could iron out some glitches and add a few more enemy animation frames, but if the patches so far haven't fixed it, I doubt it will get the necessary updates.
The best written metroidvania on the market. Was not in great shape at launch, but I absolutely loved playing it since the last patch in April 2026. Super fun combat if not all that challenging, great traversal abilities, some weird design choices sure but mostly remedied by just knowing to explore the mall asap. Loved it.
Before writing this review, I checked out what other players had to say. And yes, I tend to agree with the majority. The game does have significant flaws that might put many people off. Personally, I unlocked every achievement and still highly recommend buying Possessor(s) (especially during a sale, when the price is a real bargain). Design, Story, and Sound: The visuals and audio perfectly capture the bleak atmosphere and sense of ruin that permeate this world. (If the game truly excels at anything, it’s the music.) The story is solid, the characters are memorable and interesting, and the chemistry between them works beautifully—though I can't say much more than that. I enjoyed exploring the environments, even if the in-game mini-map isn't particularly useful; it has a primitive design that shows only the general outlines of the area. Gameplay: Now for the interesting part—the aspect players disliked the most. Combat system: Here, I have to agree with the general consensus—it feels rather clunky. Combo systems exist for only a couple of weapon types, and even those can only be paired with a limited set of active items (plus, you can't cancel an attack once it's started). This contrasts the bosses, who fly, dash, and spam attacks in final stages of a fight. And yet, I wouldn't call the combat difficult; thanks to parrying and other mechanics, enemies can be defeated quite easily. As for movement, there’s nothing to complain about; it’s simply good. While I say enjoying the explore map, I’ll be honest: you don't need to scour every inch of the map to get all the main weapons, talismans, and active items. If you *do* choose to explore thoroughly, you won't find anything more than standard upgrade materials, a bit story, and items for NPCs. The most interesting thing you can get from NPCs is the story; unfortunately, all they can actually give you are the same upgrade items. Well, I think I’ve written enough. I hope the feedback will be useful to you.
Honestly a fun metroidvania. Would give positive review if not for developer/compant problems known about this game in the community and some bugs that are likely not going to be fixed/patched. Positives: Atrstyle, and story are fun to read through. Bosses are challenging but but have clear mechanics to beating them. doesnt take too ling to beat the game. Negatives: No completion percentage is easily visible in save files. It is impossible to reach 100% map completion due to inacessible map section. Honestly wish there was a way to determine in game What items you still need to 100% a map instead of blindly running around looking for items. Something as simple as showing where all the collectible items are on a map aside aside from lobsters once you collect a map fragment would immediately fix this issue. Overall I enjoy the game consept and gameplay, but end game content/ slice of life features, like an improved map fragment system could be implemented, especially since by the time you collect a map fragment / map for a given area, you have already explored a majority of the map and that fragment should then be used to 100% a map. without that feature trying to 100% it is a nightmare since you are running around trying to guess what you missed in a map.
