Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Still processing this game's story and themes two weeks after finishing it. The music is cool, the combat is unique and satisfying, and for once there's a Metroidvania with a focus on story and characters and themes. If Possessor(s) has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Possessor(s) has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Possessor(s) has only one fan then that is me. If Possessor(s) has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Possessor(s), then I am against the world.

I really enjoyed it despite being a slightly flawed experience. Combat was very fun and fast paced(if you use certain weapons, the other options feel slightly bad) while also being souls/sekiro inspired and platforming was fun and smooth. Story was ok, slightly edgy. Art is good and the designs of characters and enemies and weapons were interesting and mostly based on random stuff you could find in buildings(though I wish there were more standard enemies since I feel like you see all of them halfway through). Main criticism is the map, it's very bad and doesn't reflect the actual terrain at all. Still had a lot of fun and especially with the bosses, mostly chill with some slight challenge in between on the standard difficulty(and there's either that or easy)
I am sad this is the game I got from Heart Machine instead of HyperLight Breaker. On a more "objecttive" side: Animations are clunky (many enemies and especially bosses float around the screen as opposed to move with the animation), enemy moves are most either slashes or energy balls, many mechanics are not clearly explained while other ones are, the story has some inconsistencies and holes... On a subjective front: while the character, weapon and enemy designs are creative, their actual abilities and use are barely relevant to their actual designs, the two protagonists are extremely whiny and inconsistent in personality, and the world is vast but not comftrable to traverse. I encountered multiple rooms which barely had enemies and had a movement challenge but no reward at the end. It's a shame HeartMachine gave up on their strong suits to write this narrative led game with barely a narrative.
Loved the story and art, the game-play was a little clunky at times but was never horrible or overly frustrating.
To be a metroidvania released in the same year as HK Silksong is hard. Still this game earns it's own place with incredible art style and a more character focused story. Flawed, relatable and grounded characters make the core of the game. Really satisfying traversal and a flawed, but good enough combat seal the deal for me. Not my favorite game of the year, but still worth playing if you like metroidvanias or you find it at discount. Some points to improve on: -Had a couple map collision bugs -I really think money earned needs to be scaled up. Rn you have to farm a lot if you want to buy everything. -Power scaling was a bit off, when you get a couple health upgrades all the bosses come tank-able -No invincibility after getting hit means you can get stun locked and loose your entire health bar when facing multiple enemies at the start of the game. This gets really frustrating, specially if you don't find the health-upgrading NPC on time (like it was my case)
