Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The 2.0 update is extensive, transforming nearly every aspect of the game, but the highlights include:
Fully realized pilots – Recruit pilots with over 100 unique pilot traits and abilities which allow for in-depth buildcrafting and synergies with your mechs. With a new recruitment and class specialization system, expansive leveling with varied progression trees, combined with new visual customisation options, you can build your own flavor of deadly (and stylish) ace pilots.
A reworked campaign – New maps, new quests, and new combat scenarios along with fully rebalanced factions ensure you face varied squads with different equipment, armour and unit configurations. You have even more reason to collect new equipment and experiment with different loadouts to take on these new threats.
Completely reimagined overworld – Explore new provinces, varied landscapes and overhauled campaign systems. New liberation and overworld mechanics, new points of interest and events, new province modifiers and improved mission generation provide a varied, constantly evolving environment to encourage players to adapt and overcome.
A HUGE amount of community driven quality of life updates – New salvage and debriefing menus, new mission previews and reward generation, reworked workshop and crafting, improved damage logic and prediction, new options and difficulty settings, comprehensive weapon balancing, subsystem reworks and much more!
Phantom Brigade is a cinematic, tactical mech strategy game with an innovative timeline-based command system. See the future, predict enemy actions, and plot your counterattack on the timeline! Recruit and level up your squad of rebels to retake war-torn Fyrland from the Kaskad occupation.
Cinematic spin on the turn-based genre – Predict enemy movements, orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures, and hit “execute” to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time.
Extensive customization – Featuring a rich customization system, Phantom Brigade enables you to fine-tune the performance of your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment, and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Prepare your squad for any challenge - in style.
An expansive arsenal – Railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords, and more! Rain destruction down upon your homeland’s invaders with weaponry salvaged from each enemy mech you defeat.
Strategic tactical combat – Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your mobile base, and decide how to apply your limited resources. Take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and challenging outpost onslaughts.
Destructible environments – It's not a proper game about giant mechs without destructible buildings! Phantom Brigade allows every square meter of each battle map to be destroyed. Shatter your enemy’s cover and collapse buildings on top of them!

Maybe 30% done with it. really enjoyed it so far. If you are an xcom or strategy game vet, you may want to turn up the difficulty a notch.
The diifculty can spike at times (or maybe im just bad) but definately fun and the game does warn you it gets harder
Only played for 11 hours but without a doubt this game delivers what it promises and as a well crafted product. Of course it will depend on taste but being a new gaming idea (as far as I know) it delivers very well and old experience in an old format. In a way it could be seen as an RPG puzzle... But then again... playing X-com is as well although here consequences are predicted. A tactical puzzle game where you also build your (mobile) base, craft new tech, and gain experience and as well actions have consequences so not regarding possibility of friendly fire, an exploding enemy stops mid-route meaning all your shots go right into your other bot which you placed nearby... or if you fubar your step in previous moves... Well its easy to mess up even with the prediction system.

Fun game, 2.0 update is pretty solid, though I do wish we had time repairs instead of camping only
Really scratches that turn based mech itch. Really impressed with how the game turned out.
I thought the gameplay was mostly good overall. The predictive time system isn’t something I’ve really seen before, although in a way you’re always trying to predict moves in strategy games anyway. Still, it felt pretty fun to use and gave the combat its own identity. Progression was a bit more mixed for me. The mech customization with different weights and weapons was interesting, and the variety was fun at first, but there might’ve been a little too much of it. It got hard to keep track of everything, and since weapons had rarities, it often felt like I was just using whatever was strongest instead of what I actually wanted to use. The equipment and crafting systems could’ve been improved, but they were still decent overall. Visually, the game felt pretty neutral. It wasn’t ugly, but it wasn’t especially impressive either. The one thing that did stand out was mech destruction—it was satisfying to watch enemy units get taken apart. For the price, I think it’s worth it. It’s a cheaper game, and I felt like the cost lined up well with what it offered, especially at full price or a small discount. Replayability was probably the weakest part for me. There’s no New Game Plus, which feels like a missed opportunity since the game seems like it would’ve benefited from it. Because of that, I didn’t feel much reason to go back after finishing. Overall, I enjoyed it, especially for its combat system, but it does have some rough edges in progression and replayability.
A rare amazing Mecha game. And this is coming from a pretty big Mecha fan.
I Love Mech battles , This game gives me everything I wanted.
Wow, the 2.0 update made this game incredible. I bounced off of it so hard at launch and refunded it. The 2.0 update is truly incredible. They've nailed this game.
