Supreme Commander 2

The first RTS game I ever played, got it for the XBOX 360. Fantastic game quite honestly. Sad that we will never get a new one

I found this game to be a little better than Supreme Commander 1 and Forged Alliance in terms of gameplay, graphics, and story but after a while, it starts to feel repetitive. There’s some graphical evolution, with more detailed models, environments, and explosions, but the unit designs remain largely the same. The campaign’s story continues from the previous games, and while having actual characters is an improvement over the silent protagonist approach, the plot itself is weak and doesn’t go very far. Gameplay has improved in terms of fluidity, making the experience smoother, but it misses the excitement of introducing powerful new units. Still, the addition of new mechanics makes the game feel faster and more fun to play. Overall, it’s worth checking out, especially when it’s on sale but don’t go in with high expectations.

over 16 years later and still no SC3..

It's an OK RTS. It is NOT an OK sequel to Supreme Commander. Gameplay, Visuals, and Vision are all a step down from forged alliance. Additionally, core features have been striped away making this installment much more generic. It's the same story as Dungeon Siege III(Also made by GPG post SE acquisition). A great IP used only to imitate a more popular game in the same genera.

Absolutely Terrible in comparison to its predecessors. Absolutely wasted 15 hours just trying to come to terms with the changes and cannot do it! Back to Forged alliance for me!
