I was recommended this game by a friend. Here are my notes. 1: The game starts off extremely weird with its mechanics, but it makes sense at the end 2: To optimize the ending to where its as good as possible, complete all of the sidequests 3: I wouldn't say its Terraria level, but this is still a wiki game that does not present all information to you 4: I thought the art style was cool Overall, this was a good change from the games I normally play and I do recommend this game.

From its loveable characters, to the fun little critters, to the insanely deep and very engaging story, oh this is a MUST own for all collect-a-thon players. Not only that, but for all people who just want a chill, story-rich, deeply fun game. Lets start with my pros: -The characters are all unique and with ONE exception, are all a blast to hang with. -The Bugsnax variations are always fun and you will be like "Okay, that is clever" to about 7/8ths of them. -THE STORY IS SO FREAKING GOOD!!! -The fact it does not shove a message or any values down your throat, its up to YOU to figure it out for yourself. -Snorpy/Chandlo.... They are my precious boys I will love. -The reward and pay-off to helping everyone is amazing -Gramble is baby boy, and I love him. -DOES tackle some HUGE topics that anyone can understand and digest without being overloaded. -The Soundtrack is amazing but... Cons: -Side Quests can get harsh and have HUGE difficulty spikes for some fetch quests. -The mid-game has a bit of a drag -Beffica. -The bad ending genuinely will BREAK you. -The songs can get repetitive as you will be backtracking quite a bit to do side quests and main quests at times... Overall, I give it a 9/10, its not a perfect game, but its a great game. Full of fun story beats, fun twists, and lots and lots of snax. Genuinely recommend this game to play for a fun time. Even if you are not one for the adventure, the characters, snax, and whimsy of this game will make you smile ear to ear, and fill your belly with joy, scares, and one fun ride.
This is my favorite video game of all time. Don't let the weirdness scare you off; this game is super fun to play and well-polished too. I only wish it had a sequel!
I've played Bugsnax 3 times on Xbox, once on the iPad and now I am playing on the PC too!!!! I have the card game and my boi Bunger sitting next to me at my desk! If you can't tell this game fundamentally changed my life and the way I play games. No. 1 fav game of all time. The adventure as you solve the games mystery is fun, the traps and tools are so well designed, my ringtone is the snaxburg song, my notification sound is the Snax captured sound. I really love this game.
An incredibly silly game with some surprisingly important messages. I like how the characters all come from different walks of life and have different perspective and stories to tell. Also, I think it's rather clever for the story to be told through the eyes of a journalist. This game is great if you like problem-solving, whimsy, a little bit of dark humor, and food that may or may not be sentient.
I have already 100% this game on switch i bought a pc copy to speedrun and even after beating the game countless times the ending is peak everytime please play this game its the best in the world
Cute, great story, amazing va and cast. Personally, the ability to think outside the box and do things your own way was my favorite part. Not one bad thing to say!!
This game is so GOOOOOOD. The ♥♥♥♥ you get to pull off is kinda crazy sometimes and it goes from cozy little creature catching game to psychological horror real damn fast. And despite the bit of horror, this game might be one of the nicest, most mood lifting games I've ever played, top 7 favorite games for sure. And the absolute euphoria when you get a giant bugsnax is kinda crazy. Make a second game NOW.
A pretty great creature collector game that is very enjoyable. I 100% the game here's what make this game good: * Methods (tools/traps/planning) for capturing bugsnaxs are snappy and fun. * Decent Story. * Fun bugsnax designs. * Well written characters * Voice acting is peak. * Solid dialogues. * Puzzles in this game are pretty nice. * has boss fights. (meh on this one though, but still enjoyable anyway) 8/10 game. highly recommended.
