Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 3.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Phantom Brigade is a cinematic, tactical mech strategy game with an innovative timeline-based command system. See the future, predict enemy actions, and plot your counterattack on the timeline! Recruit and level up your squad of rebels to retake war-torn Fyrland from the Kaskad occupation.
Cinematic spin on the turn-based genre – Predict enemy movements, orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures, and hit “execute” to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time.
Extensive customization – Featuring a rich customization system, Phantom Brigade enables you to fine-tune the performance of your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment, and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Prepare your squad for any challenge - in style.
An expansive arsenal – Railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords, and more! Rain destruction down upon your homeland’s invaders with weaponry salvaged from each enemy mech you defeat.
Strategic tactical combat – Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your mobile base, and decide how to apply your limited resources. Take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and challenging outpost onslaughts.
Destructible environments – It's not a proper game about giant mechs without destructible buildings! Phantom Brigade allows every square meter of each battle map to be destroyed. Shatter your enemy’s cover and collapse buildings on top of them!

Great game. I enjoyed it a lot and would love to see more. There are a few things that could use a change, like the Mechs workshop (older versions had a more usable one). The Prestige System for Pilots (2x random trait that you pick from instead of a tree that allows you to build your own pilot, makes it hard to try specific builds on pilots). And the first couple of hours have very little freedom in how you build your squad. Story is completely irrelevant. But the game is amazing, the way you get to build your mechs with endless combinations is incredible. The prediction system feels great if you like tactical planning. Endless ways of how you approach each battle. Also, it is very satisfying when you get to perfectly plan your 30 sec fight. Again, I would love to see more!
It's a cool idea but it doesn't really work. Avoid. I personally gave up after finding my sword had a minimum range of over five meters, but it was a series of events prior to that too. Boost jump up, sure, boost jump down? No, blocked by terrain. Why? It just is, don't worry about it. Units won't abort invalid actions mid-turn, and not even in an understandable way like wasting ammunition, but rather being say, queued to engage a target as it crosses an intersection, that target dying en-route, queing the heavy to swing their weapon 90 degrees to the right (towards the immobile corpse of the previously-moving object) while firing, wrecking several buildings and committing friendly fire on the way. Multiple seconds between. Realistically the target just doesn't wind up where it's intended to be intercepted and the attack isn't made. But it was queued, so we have to make it, even outside line of sight where we can't even percieve it. Killing the pilot while the frame's barriers are still up, without the mech taking any hull damage, because some weapons have a "pilot damage" characteristic, it's very gamey in the way it does things. Feels bad, but looks great.

Very engrossing turn based strategy that has received massive support from the devs since release. Can't wait to jump back in!
Унылая помойка
Finally beat 2.0 and this game is a gem. I remember playing the demo at pax and was instantly hooked. Really hope the devs get a chance to make a second game and take everything they've learned from the first.
This game has always seemed awesome, and I've enjoyed it immensely, but that pales in comparison to how impressed I am with the games current state. The 2.0 release of Phantom Brigade has been incredible. The developers have carefully gone through and answered the biggest complaints and missteps in the game, creating an awesome product that lets you command your cool mechs in a way more compelling and replayable way. The gameplay is like an antithesis to FTL: Its technically turn based, but the way you interact with the turn structure is so nuanced and fascinating. On the surface its XCOM with mechs, and that's true in a lot of ways, but its also XCOM with more attention to detail, and different takes of realism. I've been really enjoying it, and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys turn based tactics, cool mech fights, or the strategic outside the box puzzle solving that comes with small unit skirmishes.
Bought the Game 2 weeks ago and needed some time to get into it. But for me it is defenitely worth it - especially for 15 €. I never played it before 2.0, so I can't say if that was an improvement or not, but as it is now I really like it. The different Soldier Classes and perks are nice, but don't expect XCOM like Perk decisions / customizations. Although the game has a Tutorial at the beginning, there are still some things which you have to find out by yourself, but tbh none of that was with a big "AHA" effect or game breaking until now. In the first area, the missions were too easy, even the boss fight wasn't really a challenge. But for me as a casual gamer I rather have it a bit too easy than being frustrated because another game wants to be a Soulslike.
Very interesting quasi RTS, using an innovating system of 5 seconds prediction taking the spot of "turns". If you wanna play a team of Newtypes, this is your game.
This game was already everything i wanted before 2.0 if you like xcom with the ability to watch the battle in real time afterwards than this is the end all be all its got lots of depth to support the "predition mechanic" Including an overworld when out of combat, pilot development, mech building, lots of paint down the limbs for your mech, and a bunch of other supporting mechanics, and since 2.0 you can now watch the whole battle in its entierity. Being able to appreciate all of your careful and lenghty planning with the ability to control time speed, rewind, and freeze, is amazing! Not to mention that its incredibly user friendly, allowing you to focus on a specific parts of the battle, or follow the path of a specific mech. You naturally create entire action set pieces with every mission you play, it was the one thing that was missing before 2.0 and now we have it. So yeah, Solid buy!
