For the first couple hours, I was kind of enjoying myself, I was eager to see what new critters I would unlock, and what the next area would look like...I was even kind of relaxed...
....it wore off.
To get this out of the way: this is just a Roblox game,
looks like one, plays like one, has a million "events" that pop up every few seconds,
and a ridiculous amount of pointless nothing to do for no reason.
You play as a very unfinished looking...bird guy?...
All you do is walk around and either click on things, or just hold your cursor over them (it varies for some reason) to smash them for coins, you use coins to progress to new areas, and buy eggs to hatch, which turn into little beasties...
^Now this should be the best part of the game, there's a ridiculous number of little nameless dudes to collect...but they're all what I could best describe as "Little round BLOOPS that may, or may not, have wings and horns", there's nothing distinct about them, they hatch in different colors with different faces,, but it's still just another round guy....and all they do is autoclick for you, you gradually get more slots to have more active, but it will automatically send the best ones you have out, while the zillion others are just shelved.
Collecting them stopped being rewarding very quickly.
The environments are colorful and pretty, but also very disjointed, one moment you're in a snowy area with viking ships, the next something that looks like modern japan, etc...(maybe a broad asset pack?) this was fun for a while as you didn't know what the seemingly random theme of the next zone would be, but after a while you start seeing familiar stuff...and the fun wears off of that too.
^ I mentioned above that there's constant "events" popping up, but they aren't fun minigames or anything, it's just other things to click that drop more stuff, or a different item.
There are a lot of upgrades, but they all ultimately just make you click harder. You apparently get a hoverboard at some point, to help get thru the large number of areas more quickly.
The game has a reset feature as is common in clicker games, where you keep your pets, but reset back to lv1, but now with a better multiplier.
Even tho I didn't care about the pets in short order, and the mystery of the next area wore off, I kept playing for a while to just turn my brain off and relax....but that ALSO wears off!
Things are always crackling and breaking around you, and when you get a LOT of pets out, all autoclicking, the amount of noisy explosions make relaxing impossible, even if you mute the game, there's just way too much going on visually.
The game doesn't run great. It sometimes stutters while loading a zone...makes my fans really loud...and if there gets to be too many uncollected coins out, it starts lagging pretty bad.
Any and all enjoyment I found here didn't last long, and I stuck with it longer than I should have. The game has a ton of...super repetitive...things to do, but you'll run out the desire to do them long, LONG before you reach any kind of conclusion. (there aren't even achievements)
I got it free, but it's normally $14.99....all this nothing isn't worth that.
The only people who might fully enjoy this are the kind who want to be hyper-stimulated at all times, while also not having to think at all, or do anything other than point a mouse, while pretty rainbow explosions happen every .00001 seconds.
