About
Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail.

Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.
Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.

Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.

Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!

A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.

You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.

Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous fantasy path toward becoming a living Legend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is one long game, and that's the point. Pathfinder is an isometric tabletop CRPG, based on the popular "Pathfinder" tabletop RPG (and for those unaware, its basically a D&D game). It uses one of the D&D systems that I have no idea about, but theres a lot of dice rolling for every single thing you do in game (and so many dice rolls are thrown in the background, from trap checks, invisibility checks, stat checks, dialogue checks etc.). Everything you do in game is heavily based on your character build and stats, as any RPG tabletop would be. This game allows a lot of freedom, even when most of the time it would not seem so. You might think I am talking about approaching a battle a certain way, or perhaps finding lamp that you can cut down on to the enemies (which is completely possible to do here), but there is the freedom to choose of who you play as. To be more specific, from the beginning the game allows you to choose a "starting" class, religion/beliefs, alignment (lawful/chaotic/good etc.), but on top of that, when you progress the story, you will be able to choose a "mythic path" which is fully tied to the story, and will completely redefine your game. To demonstrate this, i will give you quite a vague example, to not spoil too much: Mythic paths are heavily tied to your alignment, however, when choosing one specific mythic path, you are not forced to be only good or evil, or chaotic ect., you have the freedom to still make evil actions even if you took a "good" mythic path. HOWEVER, if you choose, lets say, "angel" mythic path, but continue doing evil acts, you will not be able to proceed with the mythic path. So its kind of a 50/50. It lets you choose the mythic path, but does not guarantee that you will be able to play with it (similar to BG3 paladin's oath). I'm honestly happy to see this kind of moral freedom/limitation system in place. While for some this might seem cumbersome, it invites higher replayability, as most these types of games do. And this game is hella big, im 43 hours in but, I barely started act 2 out of 5. Regarding the story, it might be a slog from moment to moment, but the writing is very good. It is sort of a typical "good vs evil but not everything is black and white" narrative. From how much I can deduct, this story is sort of an analysis into the Holy Crusades of 1095-1291 against Muslim rulers. There are plenty of characters to meet that tell their personal stories of why they fight against the demons, but overarching narrative invites you to think from an outsider's perspective. It is a very well built story, with compelling supporting characters, and no matter how grandiose is the quest, it makes you want to play the game 12 hours straight. One big warning for a lot of people. this game involves a lot of reading, especially if you are not aware of the Pathfinder universe. There is some voice acting but it is perhaps 10% of the whole experience, everything else is a lot of silent reading (which is required as your dialogue choices decide the fate of your story). Also, I love the way there is no exposition when anybody talks to you; it's possible to ask them simple questions, like "what is this god everyone knows of but not me?" and most of the time you will be called an idiot for not knowing (awesome touch from the writers). The game's length allows for your and other NPCs stories to branch out and develop. Additionally, it allows for you as the player to change your approach. From understanding more of the narrative, it lets you to ponder on to some of the world's problems. There is a lot I have not seen yet, and a lot I have completely missed because of my character build. This game forces you to replay it dozens of times, to try out every class, every build, and every mythic path (and every dialogue choice). Pathfinder is an amazing game for any CRPG fan, and will become one of the best written CRPGs for me.

If one is coming from Baldur's Gate 3, the combat pales in comparison. However, what you get in return is perhaps one of the best character building processes in a video game. The sheer amount of possible builds is astounding (AS LONG AS YOU DON'T PLAY ON THE HARDEST DIFFICULTY, my baseline is Core difficulty). While combat is not as "cool" as either Baldur's Gate 3 and Divinity Original Sin 2, it is still very serviceable and fun. However, despite the build depth possible, one of the biggest knocks is there is no build planner in the game, or even online for that matter. For a D20 system as crunchy as this, not having a build planner is criminal. You are sorta forced to launch Inevitable Excess DLC and then use a mod to keep respeccing for builds. Not only this, but tooltips in the levelup/character creation screen do not show ALL the feats and its prerequisites. This is exceedingly painful when you have feats that are hidden behind prerequisites. Now I have to either research it online or fiddle until I figure out where the hell Shaitan Earthblast is. I would have been fine with feats being unlisted until prerequisites are filled IF there was a fluid build planner, but the current clunky way to plan builds makes this somewhat aggravating. However, despite my complaints, it is still one of my favorite RPGs of all time. Pathfinder's D20 system is better than DnD 5e for what I like.
While it is slightly rough around the edges and certainly more combat than roleplaying, this game rules. Incredibly deep systems straight from the best D&D ruleset.
Perspective of old veteran that played BG2, BG3, NWN, Planescape Torment, Dragon Age and whatever RPGs...This is a RPG that has a good potential. Unfortunately this game does not respect your time at all and is heavily lacking some qualities you expect from game like this... core problems I have: - Combat is 99% of this game, so if you expected something more deep in this game, you will be disappointed. You will have no time to breathe almost this feels like ARPG title with Pathfinder ruleset. Combat is hard ofc, which is not a problem... the problem is that you will spend 4 hrs in this game like it is nothing and progress is barely any. BG2 from 2000 has less encounters ..., and that is something to say. - Voice acting omg... Every character sounds like voice acted by 12 years old children. Voice is monotonous and 0 acting. Thanks to this there is so far no character I like or find interesting. Also their story is meh... Srsly this is RPG... do some proper effort. - Story is very let's say... big evil destroys the world and you have to save it... without even questioning the fact if you care... there is no personal link like lost soul and kidnapped companion in BG2, or tadpole in BG3 or figuring out who the hell you are and those around you in Planescape Torment... . So you spend saving a city which... why the hell should you give a damn about lol. - Music is ok, but very strange ... sometimes the most heroic music plays where there is nothing happening. Companions have very cringe and frequent shouts (you will find Minsc from BG like amazing compared to this) I had to turn it completely off to protect my sanity. - Too many trash meaningless encounters through the game like help lady, help the boy etc... side quests are very much missing a depth these need. - Shopping prices... +1 Armor for 10000 is little bit off don't you think? Like some balancing is needed here. - Last... I have to talk about difficulty. When "CORE" rules are 3rd hardest difficulty, something is not right guys. Then... why the hell when I have a LVL 2 party (with LVL1 spells and low HP) do I get enemy shooting fireball at me... Did these people ever consider that this is 3rd LVL spell that can wipe out 3 characters on instant? So why the hell is this in the game so early? I feel devs do not really give a ♥♥♥♥ about how D&D or modified Pathfinder scales. This game is 6/10 at best tbh... value vs extremely long time spent... not worth it.
