Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to Parkitect, a modern take on a classic theme park tycoon where you build and manage the theme parks of your dreams. Construct your own coasters, design an efficiently operating park that fully immerses your guests in its theming and play through the campaign. Both the campaign and the sandbox mode can be played in single player mode or cooperatively by up to 8 players building together online!
Create the perfect park for your guests! Deform the terrain, place water, build structures!
With a huge selection of decorative objects from various themes you can design your park however you want. And for more you can get custom scenery from the Steam Workshop or mod in your own!
Top off that park with your very own roller coaster! Design it yourself or choose from a number of exciting designs. Spinning, looping, launching, flying - with over 70 of the worlds most popular types of theme park rides you'll always be able to surprise your guests.
Parkitect maps are huge, yet every tile matters. Adventure park or fantasy land? Why not both? The only limit is your imagination. From the smallest details such as placing each flower pot, to designing massive roller coasters, you decide the depth of your journey.
Building is only half of the challenge! You'll need to keep an eye on the finances and guest satisfaction to stay on top, and for the first time in a theme park game the "behind the scenes" parts of your park have a meaning too! Route resources to your various shops without annoying your guests and keep the staff areas out of the public eye for the perfect immersive experience.

Build your way through a challenging campaign! 26 scenarios with unique settings will put your theme park management and coaster designing skills to the test. And there's always more - download scenarios created by the community from Steam Workshop or design your own with the scenario editor. With the landscape generator you'll create your own unique setting in no time. And if you're more of a creative player there's the sandbox mode!

PARKITECT: THE IDEA THAT DESTROYED WHAT WAS A GOOD GAME: First off this idea that forces you to use or lose it for their own poorly implemented design Mechanics of this unrealistic Tunnel Transporting system is very lame. What upsets me the most is that it was a gift from my son that i wanted and now i will not even play the game and he wonders why. So forcing me to post it poorly force game play campaign missing through stupid Tutorials that you can skip for no apparent reason due to what was a great old game one of my favorites called Roller Coaster Tycoon and thinking these guys would just improve on the same idea but Nooooooooooo. In the very first mission it’s a Tutorial that is okay to refresh players how to play sense it has some real good Mechanics that okay, but after a few minutes you realize you have to use some strange new idea that had nothing to do what made this kind of game play style so popular in the first place is destroyed by this and the fact that you could of just made path on the sides of the paths for worker only was not introduce is what this game should of had with a gate and only employee would use. I HATE THE IDEA AND THE FORCED IDEA AND THE MECHANICS OF THE BUILD SYSTEM: Big Thumbs down for a broken game that strayed off what was a perfect game and just improved on it in ideas that supported the popular games we all loved and played. 12/12/25 end of the year post.
You can drown people!
Parkitect hits a really nice balance between depth and accessibility. There’s enough complexity to actually tinker with layouts, logistics, and park flow, but it never drowns you in unnecessary micromanagement. Compared to RollerCoaster Tycoon, the management systems feel more structured, without becoming overcomplicated. You have meaningful control over staff, supply chains, and guest experience, but everything remains readable and intuitive once you get the hang of it.
Nothing short of a masterpiece. Parkitect is a more perfect balance of simulation and sandbox than many of its sandbox-focused contemporaries - hitting your goals feels like a genuine accomplishment and not just an inevitability. Good ride variety, a perfect artstyle that allows for exceptional flexibility and creative piece usage, and an excellent intuitive coaster builder that feels like a true modernization of the RollerCoaster Tycoon formula. If I had to nitpick some negatives, there are occasional bugs (usually just graphical), a lot of z-fighting with scenery pieces, and I'm not totally jazzed on the music - no "bad" tracks, but nothing I thought knocks it out of the park either. As a coaster enthusiast, I'd always love more coaster types too. Luckily the DLC does add some more and you can play the main campaign with some of those options turned on, which is very nice, but even some "basic" coaster types that are very common these days like RMC Hybrids are missing from the game. Texel Raptor is extremely open and communicative with the community too, and despite claiming they have been finished working on the game for quite some time, they continue to push out updates with new scenery pieces, recolorable objects, bug fixes, and more - not to mention the fun monthly build challenges and other ways they keep the community active and thriving. This is all the more impressive as other would-be competitors like Park Beyond and Planet Coaster 2 step onto the scene. Here's hoping they surprise us with something more substantial in the coming years. If Planet Coaster is the spiritual successor to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Parkitect is the spiritual successor to RCT 1 and 2. Parkitect is pure joy, and you owe it to yourself to experience this game.
If you played Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 or 2 and loved it, then you'll love this. Creative freedom has never felt so good. The community tab allows you to access a vast library of pre-created rides, attractions, etc. and the best part is that it's all free subscribe to and use in your own parks. I appreciate the progression system in the campaign; I love the idea behind finishing a park's objective and then knowing I have a brand new scenario to conquer. I love this game and hope RCT fans can rejoice and love it too.

Incredible theme park game which works similar to big titles like Planet Coaster, but better! The option to play both sandbox AND campaign Co-Op is a huge selling point that most developers miss out on, which is something this game has taken and ran with. The Co-Op system plays extremely well and you can easily lose yourself for hours without realising. Additionally, the ride building mechanics are super easy to follow and make sense, which I have not found in a theme park builder yet.
Superb game, RCT2 but with modern UX.
