Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 6.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've clocked 129 hours into this game and here my biggest takeaways: - Its a nice change of pace from traditional RST games like Starcraft - I love the diversity on the clans you can play as - The different clans are WILDLY imbalanced. I will play one clan and do great and have plenty of food, wood, and money. Then I will try another one and never have enough money, never have enough food, and never enough wood. Some of them also start out with less materials entirely which is so dumb because it means everyone is starting out on different difficulty levels. I understand that each clan should come with its own strengths and weaknesses, but the fact that there's virtually no point in playing any clan other than the Bear, the Stag, and the Goat because they all have HUGE handicaps. - The difficulty levels are also VERY imbalanced. I'll go from Easy to Normal and its like going from Easy to Legendary on Halo. - The fact that the scouts get hurt almost INSTANTLY after leaving your territory is aggravating to say the least. By the time they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WALK all the way across the map even though the upgraded scouts are supposed to run everywhere, they are already "hurt" and turning the ♥♥♥♥ around back home to heal. - The randomly generated environment always ♥♥♥♥♥ you in the ass because I almost always get put in a corner of cliffs to the point I cannot expand past 4 or 5 territories. This happens 3/5 matches and it gets really old really fast. - There is NOT ENOUGH slots for you to build on any one piece of land. Each land only allows 3 places even though there is a HUGE amount of wasted space and it costs a fortune to add a single slot. - Food to clan member ratio is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up too. The fact that I take someone away to build something and it drops my food by 5 but when I put them back it only adds 3 more. Somehow you are always just fighting to keep your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ head above water. - Money is wildly imbalanced in this game too. The fact that to add a SINGLE slot for an additional building in a territory costs 100 coins is insane. There are only 3 ways to make money (some less for some clans) and each of them take a building slot. But, you wont have enough of those because its taken up with you needing 15 houses for a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clan member - Too many things I have to focus on just to play the bare minimum game. Food, wood, money, happiness, military, housing capacity, upgrading the housing, building slot space, world events that punish you if you don't do them, befrending the local giants (which takes for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ever), trading to make more money, upgrade your town hall, and much much more. Now this is all pointless if you dont get excactly what you need on the dice role that is the map itself. Just hope and pray that you dont have 15 Draugr's on the ONE TERRITORY YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NEED, because that's what always happens. My bottom line is that this game is very fun and CAN BE relaxing but 90% of the time its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ headache because the balance issues are insane. I want to relax when I play videogames but I do like a little challenge. However, a challenge is fine, but the amount of things this game has you stressing about just to make a little headway is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. I play videogames to escape life and get away for a while, not dive into a world of stressful life balancing. Especially since each match can take 2-4 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours, its too much frustration to deal with for that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long.

if only i didnt suck at games like this. by the time im ready to ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up the enemy is already on their way lol not the games fault i suck tho. this is alot of fun and worth the money
Seems to only be multi player and I was looking for something more single player... Just isn't what I was hoping it would be... Could use much more polishing up.
It blends warcraft and 4x gaming into one seamless strategy game. It doesn't allow a lot of units, but the smaller scale makes it really fun to manage. The definitive edition adds way more clans. 10/10 Masterpiece
Very different sort of RTS than most, heavy emphasis on the S. You colonize zones and each of these zones can have a number of buildings (typically 3 sometimes +/-1) and you can upgrade that zone once to increase building capacity by 1. Every building, even houses and barracks, take one of these places. So you're constantly having to expand and carefully choose what buildings to place. Zones also have different resources. So if you need more food, and trust me you do, then you can't just make a farm, you have to find a zone that allows farm placement and colonize that zone. Adjacent zones can only be captured so if it's a couple tiles away you have to work to it. Combat is pretty basic, each faction has about 1-3 different units they can create and a "Hero". Some have an additional single hero unit but most fall in the former. There's also Relics that can be crafted for other unique units. But all that said, it's majority 3 units. All military and Civilian units can be upgraded once at the Forge but otherwise there isn't several upgrades of different types for units, just one blanket. There is a "Talent Tree" for military units that you rank up in as you fight that can additionally give your units a few buffs. There's also a "Village Talent Tree" that let's you buff all aspects of your village from gathering and economy, to happiness and some additional military buffs. There's several unique tiles that give "Renown" which can be used as a win condition. Different Tiles have different objectives and different rewards. There's neutral factions that you can trade with for gold and reputation, eventually you can absorb them if you want or you can just leave them as trade partners. You constantly have to defend off your land from various invaders like Wolves or Foxes from adjacent territories, spectral invaders and enemy Factions. Only negative I would mention is sometimes RNGesus bones you. I've had a couple of games where the zones I started near made progression either outright impossible and I had to restart or brought it to a snails pace where my only option was to get +1 food/tick and needing 160 to get to a food zone. Which at that point the enemies heavily outpaced me and I should have just restarted. TLDR; complex and very unique RTS game. For sure not for the feint of heart. I would call myself a Heavy RTS Veteran and I'm struggling on Normal sometimes. But great game overall, I love the twists they put on a classic game-type.
Tedious micromanagement pretending to be a game.
Сел поиграть и очнулся через 400 часов.
Очень классная игра, но актив печально очень маленький:(
A brilliant Viking survival RTS where the winter is far deadlier than your enemies. At first glance, Northgard might look like a standard, streamlined real-time strategy game, but beneath the snow lies a brilliantly balanced experience that perfectly nails the "easy to learn, hard to master" philosophy. The core mechanics of managing your settlement, assigning villagers, and expanding your territory are beautifully simple and intuitive. You won't need to memorize a massive tech tree just to survive your first year. However, the true depth of the game reveals itself in the clan system. Depending on the faction you choose, your entire playstyle, economy, and win conditions shift dramatically, offering layers of engaging complexity that keep every single match feeling fresh. Unlike many modern RTS games that treat their single-player campaigns as glorified, hastily thrown-together tutorials, the story mode here is genuinely fantastic. It weaves a compelling Norse saga of revenge, survival, and conquest that keeps you invested from start to finish. The campaign does an excellent job of organically introducing the different clans and their unique mechanics while throwing distinct, challenging scenarios your way. It is a deeply satisfying narrative journey that stands incredibly strong on its own, even if you never intend to touch the multiplayer modes. What makes Northgard such a phenomenal overall RTS is how it balances traditional combat with harsh environmental survival. You aren't just fighting rival factions, draugr, or mythical beasts; you are constantly battling the map itself. A harsh blizzard, an earthquake, or a sudden rat infestation can be just as devastating as an enemy raiding party. It creates a highly polished strategy experience that doesn't rely on frantic, 300-actions-per-minute clicking to win, but rather rewards smart planning, adaptability, and careful resource management. 10/10 — My bravest warriors didn't die in glorious battle; they starved to death because I forgot to assign a farmer before December.
