genuinely the best game i have ever played, there is so much depth to it, if youre a fan of roguelikes, its the best thing you can play. This is what a video game really should be. Though the game is hard, learn how to move through the environment and how to build wands you'll be like the predator. Also wand building so fun.
Finished a normal run and I would highly recommend against buying this game, even for hardcore roguelike lovers. There are several critical flaws in the game design, that might not be obvious at start, but eventually will cut your fun from the game considerably. 1. First of all, there is no accessable healing. Outside from killing some minibosses, you have exactly 8 full heals for the whole run (7 temples + 1 in the dark cave). There are couple healing spells, but good luck getting them, and anyway those have limited charges, which can be recharged only ~7 times. There is a Vampirism perk, but good luck getting it, when there is a huge pool of perks and you get to choose only 1 out of 3 random. As result, while the world is big and has a lot to explore, you simply can't. Without any form of selfsustain, even if you play very carefully - you will lose all of your hp due to chip damage you receive here and there. Eventually you will be forced to enter the next temple and keep pushing for the final boss instead of world exploration. 2. Perk system is flawed b/c of complete randomness. In most roguelikes perk/skill system is the one of deterministic parts of the game - you pick up exactly what you want/need, which allows you tone down randomness of your run with a specific build. In Noita there are over 100 perks, at least half of them are meh, several (like Vampirism or Fire/Toxic Immunity) are a must have, and some are completely useless. For the normal run you get to choose a new perk exactly 7 times, each time 1 out of 3 random, and some perks can be stacked, so even if you pick them once - they still stay in the pool and can appear again. Also there is a reroll option, but it costs gold, and the cost ramps up very quickly and never resets between temples. Funny enough, if players could pick their perks manually - I am pretty sure 99% of people would pick Vampirism as a first one, simple b/c of how overpowered this perk is without any other selfsustain. 3. Spell system is... weird? Or more like the spell pool. There are over 100 spells, and even a lot more of different spell modifiers. But many spells are not really different - just copies of each other with slightly different stats. Some spells are not really 'spells' like Bomb, Disc Projectile, Holy Bomb or Nuke. Many spells have charges and are very limited in usage, b/c those can be recharged only once per temple. Another huge flaw is that you can't edit wands outside temples (need a perk for that). As result you can edit wands only 7 times, and if you found some wand with spells/modifiers you want - you have to pick it up and bring to the temple. But your inventory is very limited - you can carry only 4 wands, and once you entered temple - you can't backtrack and bring some other wand to the same temple, b/c wand editing no longer will work, you have to go to the next temple. Overall, while the spell system might be fun from time to time, depending on what you managed to get, in the end it feel too bloated and doesn't work well with random loot. It could be much better, if instead of many similar spells, the game would only provide a set of basic spells like magic missile, that could be upgraded with different modifiers making it a fire missile, an exploding bolt or a custer bomb. To sum it up roughly, Noita is basically an incomplete clone of Terraria with a flawed spell builder.

GREAT GAME TO TORTURE YOURSELF WITH. OH YOU DIDNT KNOW WHAT THIS NEW SPELL DOES? EXPLODE ABOUT IT THEN. 10/10
After 648 deaths and 257 hours. I got my first victory. I don't know why this game is so addicting. If you like roguelikes, games with physics, exploration, or interesting puzzles then you should definitely play this. Not sure if I'll go for 100% achievements....but I just might. ;)

好玩,水里开宝箱开出电石这种猎奇死法也是没辙了
The concept of Noita is interesting, addicting, and fun, but sadly I have a hard time enjoying this game because it is EXTREMELY difficult. I've been trying for a while and I cannot seem to make it past the 3rd or 4th area. I don't generally dislike games just because they are hard, but with Noita it seems I am just hitting a wall, and I can't find a real way around it. The game also doesn't explain anything -- it doesn't give you tips, it doesn't show you how to use your weapons, it doesn't explain any of the hundreds and hundreds of spells, enemies, mechanics, or perks. I suppose I could figure out this game after tens of hours of study, memorizing spells, and grindy trial and error, but with a roguelike I'm not willing to put in that kind of time. If you're an extremely skilled gamer and you want to put in the time and effort to learn how to play Noita properly, then by all means try! But if you're not up for a nasty challenge, maybe try another game.
Not a clue what's going on but I'm loving every second of it. Feels like an esoteric wizard voxel sim.
Pls Nolla Games add a coop mode to play with my brother we love this game so much but we cant play together :c
