Noita is a magical action roguelite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated. Fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze and evaporate your way through the procedurally generated world using spells you've created yourself.

The core loop is fun. There's more to the sides than there is vertically. It can get tedius if you optimize the fun out of the game. Secrets in Noita tend to be not very "discoverable" like early minecraft. The game feels very punishing at first, but it's very manageable.
This world is hostile. It will kill you for looking at it the wrong way, and your own incompetence is just as capable of killing you. So let death be your teacher. Every time you return from it, return stronger, not because the world has granted you anything, but because you have learned how this plane functions. So die. Learn. Understand this world more deeply than it understands itself. Strip it down to its barest components and study the machinery beneath. Then take that knowledge like an axe and carve the world open with it. Subdue what was once thought invincible. Break what was thought unbreakable. Become something the world no longer knows how to kill.

But seriously, this is the perfect game for anyone technically minded, with a willingness to learn from their mistakes. It slowly builds a toolbox of knowledge in your head, until eventually you find yourself wielding it with the same confidence as any conventional arsenal. The wand crafting is absurdly deep, less like a conventional crafting system and more akin to a tape and instruction-based programming language. Its physics sandbox draws from the classic Powder Toy-style simulators, giving you a vast world of interacting systems to prod and break. Add on top the alchemy, which somehow manages to tie everything together, interacting with practically every other system in a beautiful mix of predictable and unpredictable ways. It is the sort of game you can play for thousands of hours and still discover something new every day. Not because it is endlessly adding things for you to consume, but because there is always another interaction to understand, another system to pull apart, another piece of the machinery beneath the world that you have not yet quite figured out.

only took 320 deaths and 80 hours to beat it, even tho I alrdy beat it to the absolute insanity of spells you can craft, hard recommend. Unless you are bad at games!

My favorite game. There's an insane amount of content, but you'll probably need to look up spoilers if you want to see it all, since it's incredibly convoluted. It also has the most diabolical learning curve I've experienced to date. Totally worth it, though.

hard but fun asl
Es cine.
There is people with cryptography degrees trying to decypher this game's puzzles years after their discovery, and the solution still hasn't been found. Even getting to the place the puzzle resides in requires multiple hours of being one wrong move away from death. People have built entire alchemical labs in this game. Meanwhile, if I don't get a small teleport bolt in the first 3 holy mountains, I will inevitably get killed by a creature whose name makes me believe finnish was invented by a monkey in a typewriter. If I get the teleport, it gains the confounding ability of homing to all the random pools of extremely deadly liquids surrounding me. 10/10
