Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 26.33/day in the week to Aug 5 → 31.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Very cheap marketing done to lure people buy this game as it was promised to have full launch soon . With no updates in the game for more than 6 months and yet full launch postponed for next year in 2027, which I have a doubt.

Pure scam behavior. Two months of FOMO-baiting to push early sales, and then they hit us with a six-month delay. No wonder everyone's furious.
They had a "last chance to get the founders status before 1.0" sale, and then one day after the steam refund window expired, they announced a half year delay. In the span of 13 days. 1.0 also wont be content complete as they intend to finish the world map and story via post launch updates like a live service. Buyer beware.
Literally a scam. Steam should have some policy about these situations, let us refund if the company doesn't deliver as promised, getting people to buy expecting to enjoy it soon then get them all stood up. What if they keep delaying it?
This is a very hard review to write. On one hand the game is absolutely amazing, but the behavior of the developers have left a terrible taste in my mouth. Unfortunately I am not going to review the game, but comment on the straddling of the ethical line from the devs. -April 2025 No Rest for the Wicked has 11,600 (according to SteamDB) players with an accurate "Mildly Positive" review. May 2025, The Dev comes out and says No Rest for the Wicked will not finish development if they do not receive a "Very Positive" review score. They essentially told people who already purchased the game that if they do not score the game "Very Positive" they would not finish the game and we would lose our money. By SteamDB they should have had more than enough money to finish the game even if they didn't sell a single copy after this. -GenAI. The devs state that GenAI is only for concept art and other creative aspects, but it is pretty clear that some GenAI textures were used and/or not altered enough. (This is not confirmed) -They start marketing the game with a FOMO gimmick. They announced an Oct launch date in June of 2026. If you bought the game prior to launch you received some extra trinkets that you wouldn't get if you bought it after release. In Early September they delayed the game to March. How does a game get announced for 1.0 in June for an Oct release to only get delayed in Sept. From June to October is 5 months and from Oct to March is 6 months. On top of the the lead dev said this in a Steam forum (which he later deleted) "we all knew would be quite risky.” “I asked our marketing folks to push hard to get people excited, and that’s on me." They clearly knew they would not make an Oct release, but still decided to announce an Oct release. In a response to a negative review the dev said this "All of us at Moon needed to get our heads down and focus on 1.0. We recognize the lack of content updates have been frustrating. That said pivoting on this now is simply not possible without risking quality for 1.0" But he has more than enough time to release some review site? None of this makes sense. Again, I love the game. The game can be one of the all time greats, but the behavior of these devs has me feeling really conflicted about supporting them.
I have over 1,500 hours in this game, even bought a copy for my brother for his birthday, and I was stoked when they finally locked in a 1.0 release date. Then the delay dropped and my anticipation instantly soured. Is it childish to drop a negative review over a delay? Probably. But at this point, my heart is beating purely out of spite, and whatever the real reason is for pushing it back, it doesn't change how annoying it is. Sure, I got my money's worth out of it, so there’s that. But I won't be touching this studio's next early access release, no matter how good it looks. Does the studio give a crap about missing out on one pissed-off gamer's cash? Obviously not, but I'll take whatever petty comfort I can get knowing they aren't getting another dime from me. Look... I think it plays well as a game; but good gameplay doesn't excuse poor planning. If you give me a release date, hitting date is part of the job.
This game is easily one of the best games I've played visually and mechanically. However, I feel betrayed by the 1.0 release delay. The devs presented a high quality trailer shown at the State of Play and provided various blog posts, which stated October was the month for release. I understand that games like this take a long time to polish and it should be the developer's job to know how much time a game needs. I have no doubt that 1.0 will be worth the wait, but im making this review to highlight how these developers have lost my trust.
I have just been apprised of the controversy surrounding CEO Thomas Mahler, and as much as I would like to like this game, I cannot in good conscience support such a hateful bigot. I will be requesting a refund today.
False advertising with 1.0 trailer, to hype up new players to buy early is scummy Evidence: - youtube video 1.0 trailer months ago - they gave deadline for new players to get the game before july 8th or smt to recieve ''founders'' pack (in game content). Now after they delayed the game, they moved the deadline to january 2027. Wait for full release whenever it will be. And even then watch reviews and wait few months.
