Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Hundreds of reviews detailing this situation have been deleted from this store page. One of the worst cases of scamming on steam I've ever seen. One in three players in this game are using one or all of these cheats, there is no way to votekick them, and there is no way to report them. Auto-Parry: Automatically blocks incoming attacks from any direction, making the player nearly impossible to hit. Speedhacks: Increases movement or swing speed, often subtly (+5%) to avoid detection. Aim-Bots: primarily used for projectile weapons like bows or javelins to ensure perfect accuracy. Instant Swings: Eliminates weapon cooldowns or "turncaps," allowing for near-instantaneous attacks. Subtle Manipulation: Minor adjustments to swing animations or reach that are difficult to distinguish from high-level skill. The game's moderators accept kickback payments from the sale of cheat programs. The perpetrators of this scam will claim such things don't exist, two seconds searching google reveals that this is an absurd lie. The situation has gotten so bad the game is unplayable. This is what killed Mordhau. Meanwhile Triternion gets to continue to scam steam users, and Steam continues to remove reviews that expose this total exploitation of their userbase. How this game is not delisted is baffling.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game itself is very good, but it has devolved into useless bribed admins who are actively covering for cheaters. People are blatantly cheating their loadouts, their swing speed, their block cooldowns, they have infinite stamina, they 1 shot kill kings/nobles, they glitch outside of the map, and worse of all every single one of them will spam you with *there are no cheaters*. These people are the worst kind of cheaters, the kind that will do it blatantly then laugh in your face about it. The admins do absolutely nothing because they are running under the table kickbacks through discord. Even with video evidence, they will simply hide behind the guise of *not enough evidence*. Every single lobby I reach top 1-3 players on my team, these cheaters ARE killable. They never learned how to properly play the game, and leave themselves open to things a normal player can take advantage of. Its very easy to see when someone blocks an attack from behind then proceeds to swing a weapon 2-3x the amount they should be able to. Its annoying, but you can take advantage of their *auto lock on blocking* by simply swinging from farther away outside of its detection range. Absolutely shameless behavior from everyone involved. Do not buy this game.
Unfortunately, Mordhau is in a rough spot today. The player base is small, and the only players left are absolute sweat lords who have mastered every mechanic, making it pretty brutal for new players. That being said, when this game was at its peak, it was truly something special. For such a small development team, they created a masterpiece. The massive team battles were absolute chaos, and there was nothing else quite like fighting alongside your brethren in the middle of a full scale medieval battle. Some of my fondest gaming memories came from those moments, fighting side by side with your squad, holding your ground as enemies slowly surrounded you. The combat was satisfying, the battles felt alive, and even things like catapults and archers had their place without ruining the melee focused experience. Mordhau had so much potential, and it’s sad to see where it ended up. I wouldn’t recommend it to a brand new player today, but I’ll always cherish the years when this game was at its peak. Peak Mordhau: 10/10 Current Mordhau: 3/10 If the developers ever make a Mordhau 2, I’ll buy it day one.
use to be good. now the only populated servers are ran by gatekeepers who all use discord and pay for vips. dont buy wait for a better game. devs dont bother with this anymore either.
Six years ago, I probably would've wrote a glowing review for this game. But after those six long years of playing this game, I fully realize now that this game was in its prime when no-one knew what they were doing. We still remembered how to not take this game seriously in the slightest and just have fun. The writing was on the wall when veteran players started offering "coaching" in exchange for real money. In my eyes, the playerbase completely lost the plot for why most of us got into this game in the first place after that. In the game's current state, I cannot with any honesty or integrity recommend this game to a fresh player. Do I still enjoy playing this game and have some of the best memories of my life in it? Absolutely, but you are not me. You don't have 2.5k hours of blood, toil, tears, and sweat under your belt. If you jump into this game now, you are going to get your teeth kicked in A LOT. Trying to learn and get better while going up against the players that still stick around in this game is going to be a very hard lesson in how you can do everything right and still lose, and that's not your fault, that's just the reality this game finds itself in now. I still consider this the superior game compared to Chivalry II, but one aspect that I must concede that Chivalry II does better than Mordhau is "Dumb Fun". Ways to provide yourself with brevity and comedic relief to alleviate the feeling of having someone's digital boot constantly stomping on your face. This key aspect I feel has been slowly withering away as time goes on in the life of this game. Do yourself a favor, spend the 30$ on something you know you'll enjoy from the start like a meal from your favorite restaurant or a trip to the movies with your partner. Anything really that you can enjoy simply for what it is, and not for what it can potentially be.
You're essentially joining lobbies with players who've spent no less than every moment of their life to master the art of the sword. If you think you have a chance... If you think you'll get good enough if you practice.. You're wrong. My own skill issue asside.. Server stability is crap.. And it gets quite boring after a while.
The game isn't fun anymore and it's all because of the player base and "moderators". I bought this game years ago, close to when it first came out. Over the years, I've watched it change and slowly die due to multiple reasons. You used to be allowed to have a personality and run around and goof off, but those days are in the past. Yes, it is a medieval fighting game, but a core experience/memory is figuring out the goofy stuff you could do. I remember my first cata trampoline like it was yesterday. Now, people will go out of their way to come and kill you just because their version of fun isn't the same as yours. They don't even care if you're not actively participating in the objective, you're just not allowed to have fun. That's the same with being a bard, finding where bugs are, etc. There hasn't been an update in over two years, and with that, the developers gave all power to discord moderators who ban people just because they can. That, or someone who doesn't like you, (Eggs or the NUNs), make reports and get anyone they want banned. Don't even start on the fact the moderators are actively defending a pedophile, player name is Ronin, and if you say anything about it, you get permanently muted and banned from the discord. (Proud discord ban since 2023.) If you buy this game looking for a welcoming experience where you can learn the game and you won't put it down after your first match, look elsewhere. The folks who have been around for a long time will use you as cannon fodder to feed their KD and not even blink twice. The only new player experience is death. Good luck.
serverside blocking in a reaction based fighting game, came back after over a year and hit a triple 0ms red parry, which means that I blocked the frame I got hit 3 times in a row. I was punished for parrying frame perfect. A uniquely miserable experience.
Great game, insufferable playerbase
