Necesse is a combination of Terraria, Stardew Valley, and Rimworld, with the approach to 'endless' that diablo takes, with what they call "Incursions" (rifts). It is balanced, the bosses are fun and well thought out, and the incursion system is engaging. The village management system is surprisingly in depth, ergo the Rimworld influence. I played this game while it was in early access, and picked it back up again a year later. They are actively working on it, and they are making substantial content additions. For its price, and considering the devs are actively working on it and being very open with what decisions they're making, I highly recommend this game. It is especially fun with a friend or two. p.s. check out the 'ghost' UI appearance, few people know about it and it looks great.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Probably one of my favorite games I've played. I played it with my husband and we had a great time. Wonderful game if one of you likes doing farming/decorating/management and the other enjoys fighting/exploring. I did a lot of both but had the most fun with building and managing my little settlement. Lots of automation options once you have villagers and a small farm set up for their food. I like that once you set up the rights on the boxes they will organize all of your stuff for you so there is no running around figuring out where everything goes. Just make a dump box and let them put everything away. The fighting was a little difficult for me because I'm not the best at dodging and I felt pretty squishy for a lot of the game but there are also difficulty settings that I didn't mess with that I probably could have to make it easier. The only downside was that as my settlement got larger and we got more items/villagers my husband had a lot of lag. I was hosting and didn't have any but he would lag any time we played for more than an hour or so. It would be fine at first and then start lagging so we'd have to restart to get rid of the lag. Not sure what's up with that. OH the fun secrets from other games were so cool! Secrets from other games that I also loved like Core Keeper and Valheim had me so excited when I randomly found them.

The only thing this game get it right is NPC (settlers) system. Everything else are just kinda bland to me. I played Core keeper before and honestly, Necesse can't compete with that let alone Terraria. Several major updates are required, or should i say "necessary".

Rimworld and terraria had a baby!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PEAK
I got the game on sale for 7,50$ and i have to say its the most fun i had with a game in a long time. It is similar to terraria but this game has its own charm regardless of it. Also the hours seen as im writting this review are only on one playtrough (thats still not complete yet) because if you are someone who dosent look guides and takes time to enjoy their game this game got me like WAIT THERE IS MORE?! Thats how i am curently its a awesome and amazing game very addictive tough all i can say as a downside would be be confusing npc management sistems but once you undrestand them its easy to automate tasks on your base thanks to the villagers npcs who are "yours" 9/10 imo worth the money and fun
