I bought the Silent Hill 2 remake for myself, but... I wound up playing this instead. I love a good guilty pleasure game! Mechanically speaking, this game is a mix of Resident Evil 1—featuring classic inventory management, saving with tokens, and taping enemies down instead of burning corpses. At the same time, its overall quality reminded me a lot of Bendy and the Ink Machine. At first, I was slightly disappointed because I expected quite a bit more. But the more I played, the more the game grew on me. The voice acting became much creepier as the story progressed, and I started noticing a weird psychological disconnect combined with a deeply melancholic undertone. I didn’t realize at first that you could actually help the puppets. I noticed items like the glasses, dog food, and pipe valve, but it didn’t click that using them is how you get the true good ending. I ended up getting a standard ending and just watched the alternate one on YouTube. I might come back to this game and replay it. It is easily worth a recommendation, just don’t expect the crispest gameplay. Overall, the game functioned perfectly with no technical issues.

A really interesting puppet horror game with a great flow of story, puzzles and combat. I loved the ragdoll of the puppets and each of their designs overall. The lore was really fun to uncover over time especially the lore of the world outside of the studio. It's only downfall is the constant loop of voice lines and there only being several characters throughout. After a few hours hearing the same lines over and over (sometimes the same line by multiple puppets in the room) it gets annoying. Having only about 5 different characters on loop kinda made the game a bit boring over time too because you'd fight or avoid the same 5 guys each room. Simplemente, despues de terminar este juego, no encontre ninguno que me dejase las mismas sensaciones. Es una maravilla, divertido a la par que jodido. Mis dieses.
One of my favorite games of all time, IMO. Resident Evil 7 has been my favorite horror game for some time now, but it can be too scary at times, and I like shorter games (RE7 feels stupid long). This game literally checks all my boxes. I love mascot horror (I got the FNAF 'tism, ain't my fault), I love Resident Evil gameplay (especially 7 and 8) and I f***ing love the humor in this game. You know the cozy feeling of watching a youtuber playing a horror game late at night? You'll feel it playing this game by yourself. It's like a horror game, but it isn't scary, just cozy, and I don't know how to describe it better. I'd still say RE7 is the best horror game I've played cause of how scary it is but, there's just something they nailed with this, where if I had to choose one horror game to play for the rest of my life. I'd pick this one. Also, shout out to Arlo. He absolutely killed it as Ricky in this game. Who knew a youtuber could disappear into a role that well, like, I watch that guy, and I didn't think it was him when playing it lol.
It is a great game for people who like puppets, and shooting games. I would love if Dreadxp makes a sequel or movie.
This game was incredible, I don't even know where to start. Arlo was an amazing voice actor for Rickey the sock puppet! the gameplay was a ton of fun and constantly had you moving and thinking outside the box, my only complaint was not being able to re fight the bosses and replay my save file once I had beaten the game, word of advice to anyone playing the story mode, towards the end of the game you'll have to get some purple gunk off an elevator THIS IS THE POINT OF NO RETURN so make sure you do everything you want to do to 100% it before entering it because you wont be able to once you enter. Had I known this I would've done things a bit differently. other than that this game is a blast and I hope the devs makes more games in the future. MFN2 multiplayer perhaps? you play as the puppets characters and navigate the darker sides of the studio? that would be awesome. 9/10

my favorite puppet resident evil game
Most of the time I just run around watching the door opening animation.
