Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 19.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 20.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As someone who really liked Persona 4 Golden (9/10) and Persona 3 Reload (9/10 also), I tried to like this game but it just not click with me enough. I think it could be pacing issue for me. The game simply takes too long to get going and does not allow me to play the game. At 11 hour mark, I think I played the game maybe for like ~3/4 hours. Lot of dialog and story setting up. I think the story is somewhat interesting but maybe not interesting enough to just read dialog back to back. I wish I could play the game more. There are some combat differences to Persona games, new class (Archetype) selection sounds cool but I had no much room to use it or play with it much. The setting is interesting, soundtrack sounded great and visuals were unique. Like I can tell this game is not bad and has some great qualities like with previous Atlus games but my attention was not captured enough. For comparision, Persona 3 Reload sets up for like 2-3 hours but by that time you are allready doing the first dungeon and then you are free to work with your time calendar. Here it takes longer and after your first calendar event and dungeon, it again turns into lot of dialogs and story. I just want to play more! But my patient is not strong enough as there are other games I want to play and honestly want to play more than trying to "force" myself into liking this. It's not a bad game, but it demands lot of patience and I don't have it right now. Wish I could "play" it more. Other persona games by 11th hour mark would allready let me be in 2nd dungeon fully explored and some social links done. TLDR: Not a bad game but too long for set up, not enough gameplay. Low attention and fun for me.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is not a bad game, but it's not grabbing me like other SMT games did. Perhaps I'll return to it later.
It's a metaphor and a fantasy. The angry moon gives you 4 months to get ready for elections, and so you go gather followers and gain the favor of the mases, go deep into huge dungeons and make some friends along the way to change "SOCIETY". Can you win and create an utopia for everyone? That's the game... Very unique not for everyone.

TL;DR VERDICT: 6.5/10 Great all-around but lacking sorely in the narrative department (even more so when it comes to social links), gameplay really carries the game outside of the slog that is late-game dungeon crawling. Get on sale. The archetypes are a great concept, because they add a decent bit of strategy to the game that some of the afformentioned "other titles" don't have; however, these turn out to be a double-edged sword since the amount of grinding required to master all of them or get the royal archetypes at the end of the game (Metaphor's equivalent to ultimate personas) is frankly appalling. The game's story is definitely solid and the worldbuilding is quite interesting, but there's nothing here to write home about; despite the main villain being incredibly well written, the main plot and the protagonist's arc are both really cliché and lack depth. For a game that tries to be more mature than the majority of Atlus' most popular titles, it's dissapointingly childish: the entire messaging and plot of the game revolve around a really shallow view on morality and class struggles. The MC and his party are Superman-tier good guys who want to believe that everything is actually sunshine and rainbows, and, as for the game's view on class struggle, all the racism and xenophobia in this game is utterly nonsensical. Racism in reality is borne of stereotypes or deep-seated fear/hatred, however, racism in Metaphor: ReFantazio is completely senseless; none of the races are very different to one another outside of appearances (with the exception of the Mustari that actually stick out somewhat), none of the races are shown as "criminal" races like Skyrim's Khajiit for example, and none of them have any political/historical reasons to hate eachother. The social links and plot-twists are also quite stagnant, I found myself predicting pretty much every majour plot-twist in the game way ahead of time, and I struggle to recall memorable social links outside of perhaps Alonzo and Heismay. In short, the game's story and worldbuilding have great potential, but it's as though the writers were too afraid to really go at it. The gameplay is an improvement by almost every metric from a lot of Atlus' other titles in my opinion, you're almost never bored unless you have to deal with the slog that is the late-game's grindfest or some of the longer main story dungeons like the Dragon Temple and the Skybound Avatar. One of my main complaints outside of excessive grinding however (I'll have you know that I generally like grinding in RPGs so I'm not exaggerating either) is that you run out of MP far too fast and there are virtually no ways to replenish it. Every Persona game for example had some way to replenish SP without leaving the dungeon you were in provided you had the money to pay for it, however in Metaphor you will often find yourself having to return to a dungeon 2-3 times and still having to carefully conserve mana, which really does kill the momentum of the gameplay at times when you're in massive dungeons full of enemy encounters. Finally, the music and artstyle of this game are nothing short of incredible; I do however take issue to the fact that roughly 70% of this game's tracks sound identical to one another when you're actually invested in the gameplay. This is indeed a bit of a harsh critique on my behalf, however, considering that Atlus' primary strong point outside of storytelling is their music, it's hard to let even the littlest things slide here. In conclusion, if you're a fan of Atlus then you're going to love this game. However, don't be surprised if it doesn't live up to the grand expectations you've had for every other work of theirs, as there are many things in this game that feel largely experimental.
It's been the second time beating the game with all achievements unlocked. Well, let's put good things first. It is recommended if you like the series of Persona like me. As the same performance in the series of Persona, Re:Fantanzio inherits good sides in terms of charming UI, Music and strategic team builds with the mixture of different jobs and skills. Well, except for those mentioned above, I have to say storytelling is not very interesting and attractive here. From the beginning, you could even predict what will be happening later on. Not any surprises, not an emotion, and even no special points that I can recall till now. However, the design of storytelling is still readable on the normal standard. And, yeah, that is it........... Hopefully, everyone can gain fantasy power from this game, which can be reflected in real life.
