METAL GEAR SOLID: Peace Walker - Master Collection Version

This is my third copy of PW from PSP to PS3 and now Steam. You can't go wrong. This isn't your traditional MGS game. Instead of 2 hours of gameplay and 50 hours of cutscenes you now get 50 hours of gameplay and 2 hours of cutscenes. The story isn't top tier but it's good enough and what the game lacks in story it makes up for it in content. You got your main story missions and you got ALL your side ops. From fighting vehicles like Tanks and helicopters to your usual whacky Kojima "avoid the ghosts!" type stuff and little collaboration with capcom down the line too. I play PW at least twice a year just because it's..... FUN. You unlock plenty of weapons and level them up. It has a decent and fun end game grind and as you unlock better and stronger equipment it gradually gets easier. Honestly, I always thought MGS PP was a downgrade to this. OBVIOSULY not graphically. Get it if you want a fun, pick a mission styled game with good progression. Don't get it if you expect a full fledged MGS sneaky sneaky fall asleep mid 15th cutcscene. Also. It's a PSP port. If you can afford this game you can afford a controller. The way it was meant to be played. Stop crying for the sake of crying.

First time playing, definitely bite-sized in design, would recommend if you have a Steam Deck or something similar. I would kind of rather play MGS3 or V, this feels like a mix between the two with super short missions.

Keyboard and mouse controls are completely broken. Please fix ASAP

metal gear solid peace walker is really fun playing this post mgs5 you can really see where mgs5 improves on alot of the features in this game from extra ops to the base management playing this game is basically like playing a mini mgs5 you get alot of the same fun gameplay but without the free roam or high quality graphics the 2d drawn cutscenes are really good though and give the game a unique style since it was originally made for the psp and couldnt have alot of decent 3d cutscenes the comic book style works really well for the game i think the endgame is probably the most annoying part as its kinda like mgs5 where they repackage the same missions a couple of times which makes the final stretch feel a bit repetitive

일본판만 일본어 음성 및 자막 외에 다국어팩을 지원하고 글로벌판은 왜 일본어 음성 및 자막이 왜 없는거야? 아니 마스터 컬랙션이라면서 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나인 일본어 음성 및 자막이 없다는게 말이되 그것도 발매 당일 긴급 공지로 띄울 정도로 얼마나 무성의 하냐 어처구니가 없는 판매 행태임 현지화 안하는 것은 그렇다고 칠 수 있어도 마스터 컬랙션이라면서 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나인 일본어 음성과 자막이 빠졌다는게 도저히 용서가 안된다

A very great game and, in my opinion, one of the best Metal Gear games. A few small things I would like to see be implemented in the game in a future update. [list] [*] Be able to skip the launcher to go straight into the game. Would be nice to have that for all the other games as well. [*] LAN support. One day the severs for this game will go offline so having LAN support would be a great way to preserve the multiplayer after the online shuts down. Maybe its already in there but its not listed on the Steam page. [*] I like to have an option to remove the (HD Edition) subtitle from the main title screen as well as the character art from the loading screen. Not a huge issue at all and I don't expect them to ever change this but it would be a nice option to have. It would be nice to have for MGS2 and 3 as well. unplayable with mouse and keyboard, and i don't see why i have to tweak seetings or look for workarounds just to play the game when MGS4 works perfectly.
