There are two ways to review this game: for people who haven’t played a stealth tactics game by Mimimi Games, and for people who have. If you haven’t, here’s the pitch: you control a team of six characters, each with their own unique abilities, and stealthily distract, lure, and kill your way across beautifully designed maps to complete objectives. In this case, the setting is World War II, with a few magical elements thrown in for good measure. And wow, these characters really do seem to enjoy killing Nazis. If you’re the kind of person who posts “punch a Nazi” memes on Reddit, this may be the game for you. If you have played a stealth tactics game by Mimimi, though, then you already know the deal. In fact, it all felt so familiar that I booted up old Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun to compare, and a lot of it is almost identical, right down to the ability types and hotkeys. I’m guessing some of the old designers moved to Artificer, or maybe they got permission from Mimimi to borrow liberally from the formula. Either way, a lot has been polished up since the Shogun days: the UI is cleaner, and the graphics are prettier. I especially appreciated how fast quick save and quick load are, because you’ll be using them constantly. That said, I did find myself getting pretty frustrated at times. Every area feels absolutely packed with Nazis, with vision cones overlapping all over the place. I assume the goal was to make the game more challenging and push players to approach each encounter like a puzzle. As a result, every area becomes a slow process of peeling away patrols from the edges, and the slightest misclick can blow the whole thing up. I really wish there were a toggle between sneaking and running, because I lost count of the number of times I meant to sneak somewhere and accidentally sent a character sprinting straight into danger. Still, I’m giving it a thumbs up. The frustrations are real, but they’re fairly minor in the grand scheme of things. Overall, it’s a well-made stealth tactics game, and definitely worth picking up, especially on sale.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game. Great story. Unique powers make the gameplay immersive. Only negative i can say is it gets repetitive at times as some missions are very similar in map style and objectives. I have played a lot of games in this genre like Desperados series, Commandos series, Shadow Tactics, Shadow Gambit, Robinhood etc and I can say Sumerian Six is a MUST play in this genre.
Pick it up on sale, but only if you're a fan of the genre. So, the positives: - I like that the developer decided to add some magic stuff into their setting: it allowed them to come up with some new and interesting skills. - It's a 3D tactical squad-based strategy. Entries in this genre are few and far between. - Your skills are upgradeable, which is an interesting idea. Although, I haven't felt a profound effect of skill upgrades throughout the whole campaign. But then: - There are bugs. In my first 18 hours, playing through the campaign, the game crashed three times. I have encountered at least one visual glitch on every mission. - I hate that you're locked from quick load once you're caught and killed. You're forced to sit there for a painful handful of seconds, waiting for the death animation to complete. After that, you have to select the save to load with your mouse, the F8 keybinding gets disabled. Which breaks the flow. - I absolutely hate the most uninspired mission challenges. Each mission has the same five challenges: "collect all boxes", "complete on hard", "don't raise any alarms", "don't use an X skill" and "complete under X minutes". Not only the challenge selection is bland, but rushing the player with time pressure in a game like this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sin. You have to do that if you want to get the 100% completion. - The story and presentation are very meh. The "fat ugly guys is the baddie" trope is there. The "characters suddenly understand how to manipulate magical items, which they have never seen before" trope is there. The "magical pew-pew happens, and characters dump exposition explaining that they just did something good, despite having zero actual evidence of that" trope is there. The "your guys is the chosen one demigod" trope is there. The "guy, whom you barely care about, dies in a totally avoidable self-sacrifice" trope is there. The "oh no there's now five meter gap between us, which we can't jump over despite doing so many times before" thing is there. The sudden forced character growth is there. - For some reason it rubs me the wrong way, that one of the guys can throw an infinite amount of glass bottles to distract enemies. Like, pebbles in Shadow Tactics made sense: pebbles are everywhere. Coins in Desperados made sense: you can have a bunch of those in your pockets. Glass bottles? Somehow your guy can find an infinite amount of full-sized glass bottles while being trapped in another dimension. In this magical world full of occult nazis, you couldn't come up with a more grounded in reality skill? Make him throw trash. Or, like bullet casings. - The controls feel off, somehow. For some reason, sometimes right click clears your skill selection, and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes pressing space with more than one character selected snaps your selection to one of the characters. They still haven't figured out the whole throwing bodies off the cliff technology: it still often confuses your characters, or doesn't let you even perform an action despite doing so a second ago. - The world evil is called Humbaba, and the characters have to refer to it with a straight face. Like, "oh no the dreadful Humbaba will consume as all". Might as well call it the pee-pee poo-poo monster: same thing. All-in-all, I can't say that I regret buying this game, and completing it didn't feel like a chore most of the time. But I definitely consider it to be a downgrade from every other game of this genre.
Man I just needed to play the first 5 minutes to know how great of a game it is after missing shadow tactics. Came from heavens.

You can melt nazis with acid. 10/10.
Orphan of mimimi, this is a nice game
Good one if you are looking for some real-time tactical action, and let's face it, we are anything but spoilt for choice when it comes to this genre. I can't bring myself to say that it's as good as Mimimi titles, and yet, the gap between them and Sumerian Six isn't too large in my experience, and I see no reason not to recommend the game. Extra points for the levels' visual design.
