Keyboard and mouse input for Peace Walker is completely broken. If you shake your mouse even slightly and the aim start to begin drifting randomly, if you shake the mouse violently for a second then it'll drift around for a solid 10–15 seconds like the game is trying (and failing) to emulate a joystick. It’s straight up unplayable with keyboard and mouse. The keyboard works fine initially, but while the mouse input is spazzing out the keboard inputs also stops working and snake will start moving in random directions. It feels like they got a 5 year old to map mouse movement to the analog stick and then called it “mouse support.” I don’t know why even they bothered to release it with K&M controls when the mouse barely even functions. This port should’ve never shipped in this state.
This specific game file is just a launcher for the other 3 games on Vol.2. It does not launch the Bonus Content (Ghost Babel) when I tried to do so earlier. There was no launcher for Vol.1, so I have no idea why they added this for PC. Just delete this and have your system ignore it, there's no purpose to this. You can play the games just fine without this game launcher.

Genuinely what is the purpose of this lol Why is there just a random game launch hub that doesn't have anything apart from letting you launch games that are provided as individual games accessible normally by steam regardless of whether you have this downloaded or not this is so abnormal i thought they were removing this at launch
Doesn't run on HDD's for a bunch of 2000s games and in addition it doesn't include MGO2 while costing $50
I can recommend both games easily, but why have this weird launcher when it didn't exist for Vol 1? I can just ignore it I guess, but it's just strange to have a launcher for the games when the other volume didn't have it.

Old MGS series veteran here. I played MGSPW back in the day when it originally launched on the PSP. I bought the JP version as the JP voice acting was far superior than the EN version (specifically for Peace Walker only, all other MGS games the EN voices were really good). JP version of Peace Walker also had unique items only for the JP market as well (JP collaboration with real items: Famitsu magazine replacing the generic magazine, Bon Curry replacing the generic curry, JP Vocaloid Miku, Len, and Rin replacing EN Vocaloid, etc etc). Unfortunately MGS Master Collection vol 2 is region locked. You cannot get the JP items let alone play with JP voices. All region locked BS. Absolutely disappointed. Even the Snake Eater remake had the option to play with JP voices, why not here??? Gonna refund this garbage.
Useless launcher. Just launch your games via the separate depots in your Steam library. I have no clue what Konami was trying to do with this. On Linux, the two main games will launch from here, but the bonus content won't. Which is "buh?" worthy.
