14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 395.5/day in the week to Jul 15 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A História...

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

it is just peak 10/10. the cutscenes are pretty long tho, so if you get bored easily it might not be for you.
The best game in the Metal Gear Solid series, and possibly one of the best games of all time, finally on PC. Worth picking up and playing, before you move on and play the MGS Delta remake.

Metal Gear Solid 3 is an absolutely phenomenal game, but that's not really what I'm talking about in this review. The port is lazy and even worse than the past two metal gear solid pc ports, which were both pretty bad. The game is basically only playable if you have a controller, because the keyboard and mouse aiming and controls both feel terrible. On keyboard, you can't sneak up on enemies at all. The mouse aiming feels awful, even with the mouse sensitivity settings (which came out TWO YEARS post release, mind you). Random crashes, random bugs, strange compressed audio, and absolutely no care for the people who probably don't have console controllers playing on steam. If you do play on keyboard, god help you, you're basically going to NEED mods to make the game playable and functioning as it should. It feels as if Konami just ported it to PC because they had to, not that they actually care for any of the people playing it. If you have a console, I'd heavily recommend you buy it there, rather than this PC port. If you don't, probably just grab this on sale or emulate the original, but it's going to be rough. I love this game, and it sucks to be tarnished by a typical lazy Konami port.
