Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 395.5/day in the week to Jul 15 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

one of the best anti war games i've played, it showcases how far politicians are willing to go for power over something meaningless

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

MGS3 was one of my favorite games on the PS2, up there with a handful of other games that marked my middle school years. Like much Japanese fiction, it combines an over-the-top and deeply intricate story with a big dose of comic-book silliness, together with astute reflections, too, on the nature of power, war, loyalty, and identity. To a kid who still saw the world in black-and-white terms, its story of betrayal and ruthlessness first pointed toward an understanding of power as altogether disconnected from to morality; of governments (even supposedly "democratic" ones) as eager to sacrifice their most loyal servants in the pursuit of their goals. Not bad for a story about bee-spitting villains, ghosts (?), and meowing cowboys. Having replayed it some twenty years later, I have found the story just as impactful (but much sillier) than I remembered it. What really stood out, however, is quite how unbalanced the experience of MGS3 is. Really, this feels less like a video game than a movie where you occasionally control the characters. I am pretty sure that, during my runthrough, I spent more time watching cutscenes than actually playing. This is especially stark early and late in the game - where you can be sitting in front of the screen for 90-minute stretches and barely be asked to walk across a couple of locations and shoot the occasional guard during that time. Replaying MGS3 felt like the best and the worst all at once, somehow. This feels like a game that really only becomes a game upon replaying (and indeed, I replayed it to the max back in the day): once you can skip the cutscenes (except of course for the really awesome ones) and focus on navigating creatively the handful of seemingly impossible situations you are presented with, then you have reached the core of what makes this a great game. (It should be a testimony to how awesome MGS3 is that I still enjoy it as a game even though I hate stealth - I have neither the patience nor the lateral thinking for it - and I hate it even more when a stealthy passage turns into Call of Duty halfway through, and suddenly I am rocket-launching enemies like there's no tomorrow.) This remains my only MGS (the Cold War setting intrigues me more than the techno-thrilly atmosphere of the others), and in spite of a few misgivings I still don't regret revisiting it. I just wish I'd stocked up on popcorn.
You're pretty good
life's end. isn't it beautiful? it's almost tragic. when life ends it gives off a final lingering aroma. light is but a farewell gift from the darkness to those on their way to die. I've been waiting, snake, for a long time. I raised you, and loved you. I've given you weapons, taught you techniques, endowed you with knowledge. There is nothing more for me to give you. All that's left for you to take is my life, by your own hand. One must die and one must live. No victory, no defeat. The survivor will carry on the fight. It is our destiny. The one who survives will inherit the title of Boss. And the one who inherits the title of Boss will face an existence of endless battle. Theres only room for one boss, and one snake.

Good
Melhor jogo que já joguei no quesito história e a game play é um pouco datada mas no geral uma obra de arte
Я - Big Boss, и ты тоже!
What a thrill this game is. Delta has it's purpose but man playing the original just hits right. Not to mention buying the full collection comes with the first three (technically 5) games and while the controls are a little difficult to pick up, the game is incredibly deep when understood.
