Inspired by RuneScape, Melvor Idle takes the core of what makes an adventure game so addictive and strips it down to its purest form! This is a feature-rich, idle/incremental game combining a distinctly familiar feel with a fresh gameplay experience. Maxing 20+ skills has never been more zen.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.29/day in the week to Aug 16 → 5.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Incredibly addicting game. Just like (old school) runescape all skills and upgrades tie into each other so all progression always feels meaningful. There is a ton of content that keeps you busy for many hours (I mostly played on mobile, of which this version also unlocks the full game). Unlike OSRS though, you don't have to mindlessly click the same tree, ore, or enemy to grind your skills. You just activate one, live your life, and when you check back in you'll have your XP and loot. This game also contains no microtransactions, just a few DLC's that are also recommended (at least some of them, I haven't played much DLC yet). No pay2win, no expensive subscription. An optional account can sync your progress across devices, but it can also be done manually. No internet required (only to unlock the full mobile game using the Steam version) and no Steam DRM. Highly recommend, especially if you like OSRS.
Melvor Idle might be the idle game with most depth that I have played so far. It's not just mindless clicking but sometimes you actually have to plan what to do, with many skills to unlock and combat to be done. The game is also well executed, things you unlock are eventually needed, which makes progression really worth it. I definitely enjoyed my 1 year+ journey playing this game, recommended!

It's Runescape for employed people
I wanted to love this game, but unfortunately I didn't! I love Runescape, played it since 2005. And I also love idler/clicker games. So was super excited to find this game. But yeah, I couldn't even get through "tutorial island". I feel like I got zero dopamine hits in the 10 mins I played. There's just nothing to it to enjoy. Don't like the design/layout of it at all. Just like my review, it's a cluttered mess. The numbers (which we all love seeing go up) are hard to even really notice going up. This could be a great game.. I love the idea. Hate the execution.
