We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
The game is good, fun for the most part. But this game uses the EA Launcher and you need an EA account. That's why I am giving this a negative review.
Please add Ukrainian localization to the game. There is already a high-quality fan translation, you can take it.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I'm not super far and I may come back with more info, but I can say that Lost In Random gives less than a great first impression.
YOU NEED AN EA APP LOGIN TO PLAY.
I was able to eventually start the game without - which is good, because the EA App launcher crashed no fewer than 3 times in a row before even showing me a login dialogue. According to folks on the forums, this is even worse -and in some cases straight up unplayable- on Steam Deck and Linux. It's not a great feeling to buy a game and then realize you need a completely separate login to use the thing you already paid for, let alone not being able to even start in on an operating system that it claims to work with. (Yes, the login is mentioned on the steam page, but it's really not obvious so I'm letting you know. And also it doesn't work!) Next, the game has such major jank that I was shocked to find out it was produced in 2021. Basic gameplay principles that have been established in the past few decades are frequently (but not consistently) ignored. Most annoying from the word go is the camera controls. They're not too awful on their own, but 1) your character's actions change respective to the camera (ie if you're running 'forward' and rotate), and 2), the game frequently rips camera control out of your hands without warning, sometimes for a few seconds and sometimes for the length of an unofficial cutscene. Combined with the clunky, janky, insensitive character movements, just getting from place to place takes more effort and energy than it should. A particularly annoying occurrence is when I'm trying to navigate and the game suddenly yanks the camera up to display something in the distance, altering my path, and sometimes takes a few seconds to give me control back. The game very much wants to be a movie - and an action game - and a role-playing game - while not seeming grasp the basic principles of how to combine these elements. We know it's possible because award-winning games have been doing that for decades, but you wouldn't know it from how LiR tries to reinvent the wheel in every single scene. The game lacks for a lot of basic options, particularly camera controls, which is annoying for reasons I've already covered. There's no axis inversion options, there's no zoom options, there's no sensitivity options, which is the first thing I looked for because the horizontal panning is WAY too sensitive and I have to constantly overcorrect. The aesthetic isn't bad - it's blatantly Nightmare Before Christmas- and Coraline-flavored with some dashes of Psychonauts - but it has odd ideas about where to prioritize resources. The Queen's climatic, plot-important die in one of the first cutscenes has such abysmal texture upscaling (which is noticeable because it goes from small to huge in the scene) that even I was taken out of it. The opening area is very muddy with blue lighting, which makes it a bit difficult to tell when something is important. The pacing is bad. A significant amount of both narration and character dialogue have heavy First Draft, No Edits energy. More than once the game has a good moment and ruins it by adding more narration and getting too heavy-handed with metaphors that are easy to grasp. By the time I left the first area I was burnt out on talking to NPCs because all of their conversations are too long, don't make sense for me to be talking to in the first place due to urgency, and just aren't very interesting in the end. Skipping character dialogue (which can be done by accident while trying to advance it) sometimes skips a line, and sometimes just skips to the next subtitle while the line(s) continue playing. Ultimately, there's no part of the gameplay experience that feels good to play. I constantly feel like I'm fighting through mud to complete basic actions, turning even simple parts of the game into an exhausting slog. I genuinely don't know what happened in production with this game, because it clearly has some solid production value, but it's just... awkward. It's a shame, because there are good elements in the game - some solid modeling and character design, some genuinely good lines and voice deliveries, decent music - but as far as Gameplay Experiences go, I would give this a miss.
the Queen can Get It tho
The game is fun but there are game breaking glitches in a couple of the towns making it impossible to complete certain side quests and in some cases main quests. I have a glitch that makes me not able to talk to anyone in two town and another glitch that people were having in the 5th area prevents progression entirely. I will change my review if i can actually beat the game but otherwise i cant recommend a game that has bugs that break it completely.

be like“我们共享一切”“包括丈夫”“什么?!”。 “200 years ago he ate all his clothes to win a bet,that’s the reason this portrait stopped at neckline(200年前,他为了获得赌注而吃了自己所有的衣服,或许因为如此,这幅画像的内容只有脖子以上的部分)” -游戏是EA发行的,可能玩之前需要下载EA商城
Great environment and interesting gameplay. Not terribly long...maybe 20 hours or so for a playthrough. If you are an achievement hunter be aware that the game is very linear with no chapter selection. This makes many achievements missable with no way to go back and get them except via another playthrough. It would have been nice to see more player experimentation rewarded in combat. I had a solid setup and pretty much just stuck to it the entire game.
2021 was an amazing year for gaming. We got It Takes Two, RE: Village, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Guardians of The Galaxy, THPS 1+2, ME: Legendary Edition, Forza Horizon 5, Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, Yakuza 6 and Judgement hit the PCs and Xbox Series consoles and we saw the game of the year, Lost In Random, drop and quietly dominate the year in it's simple brilliance. Even if you don't agree and don't consider this to be goty 2021 it's still up there with the greatest the year had to offer. One wouldn't even know where to start when speaking about Lost In Random. You're just lost for words. What can I say? I can tell you I've played every single game I previously mentioned on PC, Xbox or PS. Some of them even multiple times! I absolutely love Crash Bandicoot 4 and it's definitely one of my goty 2021 contenders. Guardians of The Galaxy was brilliant and a love letter to fans and comic books... and still there is a certain charm in Lost In Random that draws me to the game every single time I think about other gaming experiences of 2021. I can think of the graphics of RE: Village or some of it's brilliant set pieces or I can think of the storytelling in Guardians or the platforming in Crash Bandicoot, the vistas in Horizon and the crazy jumps and high speed, high adrenaline moments and yet a random thought pops in my head every single time: Lost In Random was just more fun. It has it's own unique charm, look and feel. Out of all the titles of 2021 Lost In Random is a trully unique gem that shines on it's own. It's fresh, original and simply captivating. The world is colourful yet dark but most definitely very alluring. Worldbuilding is marvelous and storytelling intriguing. There's drama, comedy and a lot of discovery and because it's all paced so well it really helps both the story and world to come alive, draw you in and lock you in as well because thanks to the pacing you won't get tired of any aspect of the game. Back in 2021 I reviewed It Takes Two saying it puts the A(Art) back in EA and this game does that again! It's amazing to think both titles released in the same year. 2021 most certainly was a great year for EA. Gameplay wise I would say on paper it doesn't sound like the greatest of ideas. A platformer but it's a card game in which you manage your hand and deck of cards? It doesn't sound very exciting but it's well executed and it won me over! I absolutely loved every part of my experience and that's why I bought it again on Steam although I originally played through the game on Series X. Definitely money well spent! The humour, music, platforming, set pieces, artstyle, voice acting combat and the overarching story...I enjoyed it all. I really did enjoy every minute of it and I highly recommend... Nay! I urge you to purchase it right now and experience the marvelous world of Lost In Random! Do it now!
This is a game I genuinely loved every second of. The game’s Burtonesque world oozes personality. I couldn’t get enough of it. The characters are hilarious, strange, and memorable, each one with a quirky line or moment that sticks with you. What I appreciated most is the perfect pacing: a bit of dialogue, a bit of combat, then some wandering around the chaotic towns of Random, solving the absurd problems of its wonderfully weird citizens. There’s so much potential in this world! I’d love to see a prequel about the Queen — how she rose to power, what Random looked like before. PS: EA Screw your launcher. But to everyone else: play this gem.
