Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 5.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hello Shrio, Thank you for creating a space‑factory game. After 133 hours of play and reaching Level 15, I’ve decided to step away. For me, the core gameplay loop—rebuilding bases and searching for shipwrecks on planets that don’t feel distinct or interesting—has become monotonous. The automation system shows real promise, but nearly every design choice seems to work against it. Manual crafting is the fastest method, when logically it should be the slowest. Shuttles should outperform manual hauling, yet they’re exponentially slower. The recycler feels broken; if that’s intentional, it’s another example of a design decision that undermines the experience. When I first saw this game, I thought it could be a blend of No Man’s Sky and Satisfactory—two games I’ve spent thousands of hours in. But after playing, it doesn’t live up to that potential, and upcoming features like Space Pirates make me question future design direction. I genuinely want to love this game, and I’ll keep an eye on Discord to see how it evolves. But spending eight hours at my workstation completing a Corpo Request—because that was faster than automating it across two bases—while playing Board Game Arena on the side as I waited for 11,000 wire to finish crafting… that was the moment I realized the balance is off. The entire progression system needs reevaluation. XP gain needs a redesign. The meta of deleting and rebuilding bases just to advance technology XP feels like a poor mechanic. This game has real promise in its current EA state, but it also has clear risks that could push it toward being one of the most disappointing releases of 2026. I hope to eventually comeback and update this review to a positive in the future.

This game has no idea what it wants to be. It's an MMO, with MMO limits. It's an MMO, but you don't interact with other people beyond seeing their name tags on your screen. You have to build buildings, but you can't deconstruct until level 2 -- don't misplace anything. It's an MMO so you're limited to 3 bases and a tiny footprint per base. You have to build stuff but you have a tiny daily sales limit of 1000 credit/day. Outside your base you're taxed per thing you craft. That tax doesn't contribute to paying off your debt. You can only refuel your warp fuel at stations in one of like, four places. Run out and you take half your ship's health in damage per jump, enjoy getting towed to station and losing a bunch of inventory because you had to stop by your base. You can't refuel at your base's landing pad or shipyard. All this to customize a ship that doesn't feel rewarding to fly. Entire gameplay just feels unrewarding.
Imagine taking one small gameplay loop from No Man's Sky, removing the exploration, variety, atmosphere, and sense of discovery, then stretching that one mechanic across an entire game. That's basically SpaceCraft. The first couple of hours make you think there's something bigger waiting around the corner. There isn't. You mine, craft, fly to another rock, mine some more, craft some more, and repeat until you realize you've already seen the entire gameplay loop. Being Early Access isn't the problem. The problem is that there just isn't enough here to justify the time investment. It feels more like a tech demo with MMO servers than an actual space sandbox. The ship building is decent, but one good mechanic can't carry an entire game. Everything else feels barebones, repetitive, and missing the magic that games in this genre usually have. Maybe it'll be worth revisiting in a year or two. Right now, I'd save your money.
Absolutely not. This game is peak Shiro Corpo speak when it comes to communications and resolving any issues in any capacity. The community is more toxic than cs2 + dota + league combined, and the cheaters are rampant beyond anything. The issues plaguing the game will never be resolved and the team knows it hence why they do not allow community managers or q&a's to address anything in any capacity. In a few weeks as of this, the game might have a hundred or so players and no amount of content or direction change will make this title better because of how the developers operate and the primary fact, as they have said over and over, that they do not care once projected sales are achieved. They were, so this game is done.
After 35 hours of cumulative playtime, I think that almost all of the negative reviews can explained by this: You either perceive flying through space to scout planets for resources and extracting them as a grind, or as a relaxing activity with the occasional moment of exitement when you find a rare item (like a gem) in a harvestable resource (like an ore node). Spacecraft, at least in its current state, is not an action game. I'd say it's currently the "space-game-enthusiast" equivalent of a fishing simulator. If you like that concept, then this is a game for you, if not - which is perfectly fine - then not.
Update: WOCHE 4 – Ich bereue nichts. Prioritäten muss man setzen.
Stellt eh jeder selber her.
I REALLY want to like this game, but the grind - UGH the grind!! It's just too much for this middle-aged man to suffer through. I have precious few hours per week to spend frying my eyeballs, and sitting idle for minutes at a time waiting on refineries to refine, workshops to work, and laboratories to... Uh... Laborate? ...isn't the most fulfilling experience.
For SOLO play. The solo is restricted to online timing. Plants require 30 hours to mature so you have to play for 30 hours, your game has to be active for that time. 5+ Lab analyzing requires 12 hours per so again your game has to be active for 60+ hours. Most people only play for several hours per day. Depending on your game time this could take weeks to months to complete. Its like they are forcing you to play online.
There are two types of Early Access: 1. Developers use some time and your money to make a great game 2. Developers use a great game idea to make as much money as possible and leave, sometimes creating the illusion of development without making any real progress for months or even years, just to maximize profits This is the second one.
