pretty good! I understand all the complaints about the last chapter but I did not find the last mechanic unreliable, I just thought it was unbearably hard, and the very very last part of the level was just super annoying. I really appreciate the effort to make every level unique enough to warrant their existence, and the creativity it took to make the level seem natural, like most platforms in the way forward make sense within the context of the setting like the cliffs, the pipes. some very unorthodox paths which I thought were just for a hidden collectable ended up being the way forward so it can get very confusing on where to go (although i found out mid chapter 5 that you can trigger a waypoint so you know where to go, wouldve taken a lot more time playing through the last chapters without it) Overall 8/10, hope to see more from this dev, preferrably in the same style! love megastructure exploration games
It's great. The level design and platforming feel *just* janky enough to evoke the feeling of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with weird geometry to explore out of bounds in a game. Check this out if you liked NaissanceE.

Few games evoke "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" moments from me as often as Lorn's Lure. It is clever in its level design with a central theme of making you feel as small as possible without making the challenge of climbing too daunting. The environments of the megastructure are captivating and the atmosphere is as crushing as the levels are vast. My favorite levels are the flooded temple made for creatures much larger than you and the cave level which cleverly grants a small throwable light to instill a chest-clenching thalassophobia as the ember slowly soars over giant objects, illuminating only a fraction of the whole, before disappearing into the void below. Not all of the game is a hit. The final level, notably, asks more of you than I think any game has a right to for a required challenge. The desert level has a very janky wind gimmick with little visual feedback on how you are meant to deal with it. These levels sour the rest of the game a bit but by then I had devoured every challenge Lorn offered, so I was willing to stick through the more painful stretches, although that last level really stretched my patience to its limit. This game is up there among the parkour greats as far as I am concerned.
If you die and after respawning find yourself pointing the opposite direction you were trying to go, try going that direction instead. sometimes the route isnt super obvious and some jumps are more doable than they initially look.

Благо, чекпоинтов в игре достаточно, и разработчик честно пишет: «Mistakes are not punished by redoing lengthy sections».
Very interesting atmosphere, I felt very much within the world as I traversed. Something that partially broke that immersion that I couldn't get over however, was the inconsistent texture quality. It was very strange to have a small object close to me that had less pixel density than a massive structure very far away. Also, I was a little disappointed with the ending, as it felt like it was leading to something a bit more significant. Despite these things I was sucked right into the game, I really wanted to explore ever little bit that I could. I enjoyed discovering little bits of story as I ventured off the path. Overall, good game.
This game is dark. It is dark, bleak, yet equally mysterious, vast, and oddly comforting with the combination of the howling ambience and reactive parkour and sound design. The games environment and atmosphere tells its story, a story of mystery exploring a dark and empty landscape, with several biomes and technical but forgiving gameplay in the games parkour. Similarly to Shadow of the Colossus, I really do find this games empty environment really comforting, and I do really enjoy it.
Fun gameplay. Great vibes. What else could you ask for?
