Jim Power -The Lost Dimension

Están las versiones de SNES (modificada para morir de 3 golpes en lugar de una), Genesis, DOS y NES. Las cuatro son muy parecidas pero hay suficientes diferencias para jugarlas todas a mi parecer. Son juegos ambiciosos, con jugabilidad run and gun, navecitas y en los casos de SNES y DOS tamién hay dos niveles al estilo de la vista de arriba del genial Contra III. La música es compuesta por el mismo músico de Mega Turrican y por lo tanto es de gran calidad. Del lado negativo es que la dificultad puede ser alta y que los niveles son tan largos que pueden volverse monótonos antes de terminarlos. Aún así lo recomiendo (a duras penas) gracias a la variedad de estilos de juego y música.

7 / 10 Been mucking around with the different versions this title presents (DOS, SNES, and the previously unreleased Mega Drive & NES versions). All of them have their perks and drawbacks. Bit of a shame it didn't have the very original Amiga version (known as Mutant Planet, which has a really nice graphical style different to this one and a few gameplay differences). I really hope Piko make a brand new version combining the best elements of all of the versions because I think something can be done with this. As it is, not an amazing title, but I did moderately enjoy mucking around with the Mega Drive and NES version, particularly. Only worth it on a discount and on a rainy day.

Je déconseille les jeux DÉVELOPPEUR : Digital Concepts ÉDITEUR : Piko Interactive LLC, Classics Digital Certains se plaignent de DOTEMU alors que ces derniers respectent bien mieux les franchises rachetées avec un réel travail de fond. Pour " JIM POWER - The Lost Dimension" DÉVELOPPEUR : Digital Concepts ÉDITEUR : Piko Interactive LLC, Classics Digital ( jeu culte des années 90 ) Je reproche une émulation simple avec le strict minimum. Je regrette l'absence d'un enrobage globale afin de se sentir à l'aise. Pas de menus permettant de modifier les touches, d'options graphiques, de changement de version de jeu à la volée . .. GROS REGRET : Je déplore l'absence d'options graphiques permettant entre autres de donner un cachet vintage avec image baveuse d'écran cathodique, et surtout des SCANLINES. Pour les jeux rétros il y a des puristes comme moi qui recherchent cette sensation. Je REGRETTE l'absence d'option graphique ajoutant des SCANLINES virtuelles. J'aurai aimé recommander ce jeu, mais je suis contraint personnellement de me reporter sur une émulation standard en dehors du carcan STEAM.

Still having problems using an Xbox controller with the DOS version BUT the inclusion of the SNES, Genesis and NES versions all playable on the Xbox game pad all made up for it! Thank you. After all this time I can now play this game with my game pad and I have 3 versions to play. Well done and thank you.

グラフィックは癖があるが綺麗だと思う。 ゲームとしてはかなり出来が悪く、日本の当時のアクションゲームと比べてびっくりするくらいつまらない。 ストレス要素も多く、おおすめできないゲームです。
