Reviews
I'm not exactly sure if it's just me but, it feels as if the enemies are much stupider compared to the first game. I was playing the fifth story mission in which you enter a large building with several enemies within through a door anomaly. For some reason despite using a shotgun, enemies sitting in the next room over won't notice the LOUD gun shot and come investigate. It makes the tense atmosphere you're currently in a lot less immersive since the enemies are so stupid they can't guess to check out the loud noise that sounds like a gunshot. Despite all of this the game is genuinely pretty great. All of the new features really help with allowing for you to customize your weapons and armor.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

TLDR: don't buy this game not now not ever this game is steaming pile of crap because it runs like complete ♥♥♥♥ and if you play longer for 30 minutes it will start to lag and stutter like a slideshow and enemys are just flat out unfun to fight against and you don't even get anything for killing them like I can understand why they did it like this because its meant to make you play carefully and know when to pick your fights but thats not gonna work if you add so many respawning enemy's that would make sense for 2 people but I only play solo because its still a semi heavy investment on buying it
This game has SO SO much potential, but it sadly falls flat on it's face due to really bad optimization. In single player at the starter base called "Facility 27", I see game frame times that range from 2ms to 14ms depending on where I am looking. I don't even move, just turn my head, and see a 7x increase in frame times from the game executable. The same is true for the first map called "Kalasaare Village". Due to the maps size, these frame times are less noticeable than the home base, but they are there. The second map called "Romashka Cooperative" gets worse, with frame times exceeding over 20ms in certain areas. There seems to be no ryme or reason to these frame spikes, they occur in different areas and different times, all coming from the game EXE. And the forth map called "Pechorsk Outskirts"? Buttery smooth in some areas, then you turn your head and it's a 40ms frame jitter horror show. It's so bad on this map it puts me off from playing the game at all anymore, because the third map has some amazing 3-5 story buildings you can search areas of in total darkness at night, but most of these areas the worst optimization I have ever seen in a VR game in nearly 5 years since I got my VR headset. I have NEVER gotten sick in VR, until I played this game. It's a cool COOP experience, but they performance issues occur there as well, and there are stupid bugs where I can't use my NVGs anymore, and one time when my NVGs wouldn't work, my light got stuck OFF for me and I was useless. I had to follow my friend who was the host in the dark, and his night vision always works as the host, and he would even see my flashlight turning on and off but I couldn't... 1.0 isn't great, this game needs more time to cook. Hopefully the devs can fix these massive issues. I just can't justify recommending this game at full price. It's at best a $10 early access game full of performance issues and bugs, which is 1/4 the asking price at my time of review... And the third larger map of
I really do love this game, Like it's genuinely got ALOT going for it in a lot of good ways that other VR titles lack. But My friend and i have had a horrendous experience in terms of performance. Random, continous lag spikes that happen at random in area 2, And a practically unplayable mess in area 3, Outside of that the rest of the game has been a much more refreshing and fun experience in terms of gunplay, (which has soo much depth) Survival mechanics, AI Behavior, It truly has the potential to be a fantastic game but when i've read and seen people who have absolute MONSTERS of pcs struggle with this game. I know it's not a hardware issue. My review will change in time when they actually fix the performance of this game, I use a quest 3s wired in and have even adjusted my resolution scaling both on my headset and in-game with barely any difference on performance in this game.
What a beautiful game: the atmosphere, the world, the weapons are amazing, and the customization of the experience to the small details is a huge plus: you can go from a "run&gun" gameplay to the hardest survival game (and everything in between). Absolutely recommended. This is one of the best "Zone games", those set in Eastern dystopian worlds (which I love so much): https://youtu.be/P7Qrs6zaQug
the best vr game ive ever played. the guns are the best ive ever seen in any vr game, and the amount of gear customization is huge
