Greetings Enforcer, and thank you for enlisting in the Hypnospace Patrol Department! As the corporatocracy sleeps, outlaws are out there committing terrible transgressions all across our beloved Hypnospace, and these virtual streets aren't going to police themselves!
Hypnospace Outlaw is a '90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace's wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful.
As part of your job as a Hypnospace Enforcer, you'll be watching out for copyright infringement, internet bullying and more, with reports and rewards coming direct from the Hypnospace Patrol Department to your inbox. In your spare time, you can customize your HypnOS desktop however you see fit, with a variety of downloads, wallpapers, screen savers and helper bots to keep you company.

Crawl through Cyberspace: Scour the darkest corners of the Web for scumbag users who violate Hypnospace law!

One of the most appealing and original breaths of fresh air I have felt in my life. I love this game, and I eagerly await anything Jay is excited to put out for us, thank you for this game!

the people behind this game crafted such a real and believable world with so many interesting, funny, loveable characters. there's a hypnospace-shaped hole in my heart now that it's over. so much work obviously went into the making of this game. there are so many songs, graphics, backstories for characters, i'm not good enough at writing to emphasise how much substance there is here. the puzzles are genuinely rewarding to complete, the interface is super satisfying to navigate through, and even if you were too young to experience the internet in the 1990s like me, hypnospace is so dripping with nostalgia that it'll most likely still get you. i grew up using the internet in the late 2000s/2010s and this game hits a lot of familiar notes to me. genuinely one of the most unique games i've ever experienced, what sucks is that i know i'll never find anything quite like it ever again.
Finished this in one long playthrough and it was really fun. I love the retrofuturitistic style and I really felt like a true investigator at the end. The ending could have felt a little more climactic imo but the story was decently done overall, with realistic characters and circumstances. Lots of little extra bits you can explore for cosmetics. The silly artstyle and comedy is rly endearing.

Probably the best point and click game I've played! The Story is really well made and had me hooked to find out each piece evidence that went towards the main plot. The characters that run the websites are really funny and I'm just impressed by how great the writing is done here. Setting is N/A Visually, its a delightful throwback. Performance was solid throughout and I didn't run into any bugs or glitches. The Art Direction is on point feeling like I've been pulled right back to the 90's internet. Definitely gives the vibes of older websites such as myspace and serves as a reminder of the many websites people made just to discuss their likes and hobbies! Sound and Audio are a perfect match for this experience with the soundtrack having all sorts of different genres that mix well with the weirdness of this game and the audio definitely feels like I'm interacting with an older computer system. In terms of Gameplay, this is the best implementation that I've seen a point and click game use! The concept of point and click is very simple, but I love how the game layers its secrets and 'puzzles' that really keep the mind engaged and the rewarding feeling of finding something. Overall, Hypnospace Outlaw is a fantastic game that anyone can enjoy, and if you're on the fence about the type of game this is, this will definitely change your mind!
