Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 26 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
At the time of this review, I have played it across several machines, mostly on my ThinkPads using the trackpoint instead of a mouse. The gameplay still feels interesting, and I can only imagine what it must have been back in the day. If at all I could complete the two games, I might try a couple of missions in classic mode to get a taste of the improvements first-hand. Needless to say, I shouldn't have waited for so long to finally try these after having had the Remastered Collection in my library for years.
Fun campaign until you get to mission 7. You have to survive for 8 minutes against an indestructible capital ship that magically spawns like 50 ships a minute and can teleport anywhere randomly. The game also caps you off at 70 small fighter/corvette ships while the enemy gets like 200 in this mission... Also you need mods to fix broken ship formation commands. If you get this I would stick to skirmish mode but ignore the campaign it gets kinda lame.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

老游戏有点东西啊,就是没有加速键有点坐牢
Beautiful Immersive game and one of the most influential RTS in history. The QoL, audio and generally the whole Remaster of this is top tier. Worth it
If you want to play Homeworld 1, I really can't recommend this. HW1RM looks beautiful, but there are so many bugs and problems that have been introduced as a result of porting the game into the HW2 engine that there are significant issues, and even the player's patch doesn't address everything. The difficulty scaling is way more aggressive than in the classic HW1, though the player's patch can at least allow you to tweak this. Support and repair frigate functionality is buggy, especially when it comes to docking fighters/corvettes. Strikecraft will get stuck on the support frigates and not undock - although switching the frigate to aggressive stance will undock them, it doesn't seem to always undock all of the ships. This makes using support frigates for repairing strikecraft basically impossible during missions. Formations are very bugged, and the sphere formation doesn't work at all the way it is supposed to. Only ships in the aggressive stance will stay in formation when attacking; the player's patch changes it so that ships in the neutral stance will also stay in formation, which helps. For strikecraft, you can't have large formations of fighters in formations like the delta, x, or claw, and are limited to 9 per strikegroup. Also, the effectiveness of fighters in general are just reduced. Additionally, if you have fighters or corvettes in an evasive stance so they move around more, when you have them disengage and flee, they will move back into formation slowly before moving away and be destroyed very easily. You have to break the formation to prevent this.
Needs mods to even work properly
Love this game. I bought it when it came out in 2001 and completed it in about 12 months of non stop playing, these days its nice to just play the pc and wander around some beautiful but maybe outdated graphics. Game play with friends is very fun and i often compare it to chess in space. Omg 25 years of playing Homeworld? good grief!!
Homeworld 1 is one of the best games ever made in my opinion. The remastered collection upgrades it to modern graphics/resolution. Get it and play it!
This is great, Homeworld 3 is not.
