Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Sep 12 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

OG OG OG Star Wars. No battle passes. No skins. No “meta”. Just spawning in, picking a class, and immediately getting blasted across the map. I remember my neighbor Joseph showing me this when I was like 6, like it was his son Jesus himself, felt like my older brother putting me onto the real stuff. This was the “don’t tell your parents we’ve been playing for 6 hours straight” kind of game. And somehow…it still hits the same.
i remember playin this ♥♥♥♥ at the ripe age of 10 years old. even now, in 2026, this game is still great. also, im addicted to inflation furry porn

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Gotta hand it to EA for making so many star wars games and failing to make a single good one after I was born, it's genuinely impressive
Game keeps switching to a black screen and becomes unplayable when trying to select a unit to spawn as: literally unplayable.
actual classic, if you weren't around when this game came out I don't think you can ever appreciate games the same way I can. Sorry. WE are not the same. Star Wars. ♥♥♥♥ DISNEY
If this game was a living person I would marry it. Maybe even if it wasn't a living person like in corpse bride I would still marry it. I would marry this game.
Guide on how to get Remaster Mod & not waste $35 on Battlefield Classic Collection Remaster STEP 1: Buy this game instead of the Battlefront Classic Collection, Download it, & make sure you open it at least once, then you can close it STEP 2: Google ModDB STAR WARS Battlefront 2 Remaster & Click on it STEP 3: Download the installer and then install the mod in your SWBF2 root folder. STEP 4: You can also install the HD Graphics Mod 2.0 (not required). Good job! You can now get almost the same experience and you also saved 25$! Why it's better than EA's Battlefront 2: - No micro-transactions - No Pay to Win - Get Darth Vader as soon as you buy the game - No Locked heroes - No EA - No Loot-boxes - No Grind Wall - Galactic Conquest - Doesn't give a damn about canon and legends - Era specific heroes (No Rey in the Clone Wars) - Was made before Disney's takeover - Some of the best quotes in video games: "Watch Those Wrist Rockets!", "Super Battle Droid! Take it Down!" ModDB STAR WARS Battlefront 2 Remaster improvements include: - Remastered Environments: Redesigns official maps (such as Dagobah, Geonosis, and others) to look far more detailed and organic. - New Custom Maps: Introduces entirely new battlefields and eras inspired by broader Star Wars lore (including Clone Wars expansions). - Vehicle Interiors: Adds immersive first-person interior views for selected vehicles. - HD Textures: Replaces low-resolution ground, wall, and environmental textures across classic maps with crisp, movie-accurate details. - Enhanced Units & Models: Upgrades trooper armor, fabrics, and weapons with realistic scratches, grime, wear-and-tear, and normal mapping for improved depth. - Lighting & Effects: Modernizes particle effects, explosions, and surface reflections without breaking the classic aesthetic feel -Online Compatibility: Unlike many total conversion overhauls, it is engineered to keep multiplayer functionality intact for compatible servers.
A classic from my childhood. One of the best Star Wars games ever made. The heroes vs villain's game mode is enough reason for me to play this. If you never had the pleasure to play the original, I surely suggest to do so.
absolutely goated game and flawless just wish the campaign was 10x longer
Let's pretend that the whole EA situation didn't happen & go back to the true Battlefront 2 experience. If you're looking for the best Star Wars game out there, look no further, this game has it all. Although the vanilla version is just the tip of the Iceberg, Add mods, and you've got yourself the ultimate Star Wars game, but even without mods it's great.
