This witty, wacky, turn-based strategy game is now available for Steam. In Highborn, you’re treated to a strategy game that offers an intelligent, tactical experience without the frenetic play of a traditional RTS.

If your tired and burnt out from a day at work and want to play a game, but don't have the where withall to dig into something deep, The casual aspect and wacky stupid humor of this game is just what the Doc ordered. An hour relaxing with this game gives just the right amount of relaxed, chuckles and light mental exercise to wake you up and prep your grey-matter for something a little bit more on the edge. The art and production values are top notch for an indie game. It's relaxed, light fun that's just right for those times when you are just sitting there and zoning at your screen anyway.

if u dont mind it being cheesy or an old game its a good strategy game
Tags: Tactical - Fantasy Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Limited gameplay, limited interactivity with few abilities and things you can do to influence the oucome of fights. Game will test your endurance and patience more than your skill or strategic mind. Game crashes on exit and returns an error dialog about the options file being corrupted on launch. It looks and feels firmly tablet grade and seems designed as a low ambitions King's Bounty. You get a starting squad in a fairly small hexagonal grid village or forest and you gotta keep your squad together and mop up. You are fairly outnumbered and there are a variety of hazards along the way. You can use cooldown powers to help soften up targets. Would be fine on a casual platform like a tablet when you can pick up play a few turns and abandon play but for a sit down PC entertainment experience this comes short of so many better titles in a same vein. If you you factor in the turn based nature of the game that drags out the content, and keep in mind that there are only 10 levels in the first episode and you are expected to purchase the other ones separately and it does not make for a very compelling case. The stereotypical golden boy hero did not really grip my sense of humor and just felt like a lazy cardboard cutout of a character. Removed for declutter.
A great, simple game. Really enjoyed it.
Great game, highly recommended!

If u like turn based strategy, and u have little time to play, this game is for u.
super mit humor
It's funny and overall a good time. My only advice is to buy this on sale and pick up the dlcs at the same time. 66%-75% discount is the best time to get it.
