This witty, wacky, turn-based strategy game is now available for Steam. In Highborn, you’re treated to a strategy game that offers an intelligent, tactical experience without the frenetic play of a traditional RTS.

Schlechtes Spiel. Für Fans des Genres absoulut nicht geeignet, keinerlei spielerische Tiefe vorhanden
Awesome game. Fun simple combat, bright old school visuals, and hilariously cheesy and cliched plot. An infinite amount of fun and silliness for a great price. 9.5/10 (Loses half a mark for occasional difficulty spikes)
Highborn presumably wouldn't appeal to hardcore TBS players, However, it is a decent bet (at least on sale) for those of us who sometimes just want to relax and listen to some music while playing a game, but who don't want to earn an advanced degree in the game's mechanics. I don't see myself replaying any levels after I have beaten them, but I am sure I will finish the chapters.

Oh, you're interested in buying this? Just don't. I normally give games a little longer to improve, but it was clearly going nowhere good. Play a free version of snake on your phone rather than this. Stare at a wall and analyse the paint instead.
It's not a game, so much as a really long tutorial with no real challenge or fun. Also, the base game has achievements you can't unlock, without purchasing DLC content.
Is good.
fun little hex game
This is a fun title utilising the concept and interface I like in other games. Well worth it if you can get it in the sale.
edit: so i'm changing my opinion from not recommending to recommending because the base price is now down to $2 which seems more fair. original review: Well, this game is really overpriced. Highborn is only the first part of the game, meaning it has no conclusion. $10 for 1 chapter (only 8 missions) is laughable. buy King's Bounty instead this one.
Lightweight turn-based-strategy fun. Silly but entertaining.
