Reminds me of the dark fantasy turn based games I used to play a lot on Armor Games and Kongregate back in the day. The game's art style oozes character and has all of these little details and nuances that make the turn based combat fun, like the weapons you equip showing up during combat, being able to dye your armour and respec your builds without penalties, upgrading uniques, etc. I am sadly not a fan of the randomised loot system and let's be honest the majority of the vendors are completely identical to each other. I wish there was a way to filter what you want once you pay to regenerate items because I wasted a lot of time and burned through all my gold just trying to find things that would give me enough resistance to survive some bosses. As fun as the combat was, it did get very tedious towards the end as you just have to fight through hordes of enemies. Fortunately, main story completes before everything got very boring. I did wish there was more RPG interactive elements though, more ways for your characters to interact with the world. The story isn't revolutionary per say. But I really would have liked to see some missions that dealt with the aftermath of the main story. There are a handful of minor characters that play a particular role in the main story but just drop off once you progress far enough and I would like to know what happened to them. Overall, I still think the game is pretty solid. Even with all my complaints, I still want to dive into the world and get immersed in it a whole lot more. It definitely has its replayability value.

I was a fan of the first game. Got a bug and was resolved promptly by the dev. Love the theme and world building. 9/10
I'm a huge fan of the earlier games and quite enjoyed this one as well! One of my complaints would be it felt quite unpolished and empty in the end. Really happy to see the roadmap and I hope it won't dissapoint! I'll definitely be coming back to see how it's developing.
This game is essentially a Diablo 2 RPG. It's got some dark and gritty moments, and the class system is fairly unbalanced. Some skills are just straight up useless, while others are hilariously overpowered. It took me around 15 hours to beat the game the first time around, and the second half of the game is when your powers really start to come online and work for you in your favor. The nice thing is you are not locked into your character choices. You can respec as often as you like, so if you picked up a skill that does not work for you, or you just are not feeling a build, you can fix it quickly. The loot in this game is very similar to Diablo as well. You get loot pinatas all over, most of it is literal trash grade to sell off, and some give you effects you need to make yourself a walking murder machine. I enjoyed this game vastly more then I expected.
The game has clearly evolved since the first one, and it's much bigger too. The art of the game is amazing, and it's mind-blowing how talented the developer is. I like the grimdark atmosphere and the variety of build crafting. The only negatives for me was the lack of unique items, variety in items and combat repetition/grinding.
