I’m playing exclusively on my steam deck LCD and having a lot of fun. The game is a blast and I already started replaying it. The problems I have ran into are issues with the enemy AI not noticing me and the graphics being shotty (probably my fault tho for playing it on the deck). I am also confused because they advertised the game as having a large sandbox, but I hardly ever found a needle rifle or BR. I loved several things about this game though. I haven’t had this much fun fighting the flood ever. 343 guilty spark and the library were levels I would dread on combat evolved. But I love playing them in the new game. I think the overall weapon design and use is wonderful too. The AR is actually a lot of fun to use. The skin options for chief is cool too. I’m hoping they remake Halo 2 and 3 as well. Overall, I give it a 3/5.
Ignore my playtime most of it was AFK. This game does NOT feel like halo. The warthog is somehow even MORE slippery than it was in CE. Enemies disappear instantly after you kill them half the time. The voiceovers sound like everyone in the studio didn't want to be there. There is a constant waypoint telling you where to go and you can't turn it off. Remember the good ol' magnum from CE? Yeah it isn't that anymore. Graphics: Looks good at first, then you realize its a polished turd. Everything looks wet like someone went around with a hose right before you walked in. And you can tell with the covenant re-skins that they absolutely hated Bungi's original design and instead chose to reuse assets from other games. Combat: Enemy AI was pulled from different games and the pathfinding for the flood infection forms is abysmal. half the time they all pile up and get stuck behind random objects. Some of the weapons make the gameplay trivial (looking at you needle rifle). Assault rifle doesn't have that "kick" that it had in CE. If you want to play it for nostalgia, just get the MCC. This is more of copying Bungi's homework and still messing it up and getting a C-. But don't worry guys, the bonus mission is full of super funny quips and one liners from masterchief, you know because he's known for that. Really looking forward to being dissapointed by the halo 2 remake.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Brings back happy memorys
Don't listen to the hate, there's a great remake here!!
The disconnects from friends is real, making it almost unplayable.

Plays just like the classic, no idea what all the fuss is about. Reliving my highschool years!
Worst Halo remake ever. There are some pros, but its not enough to cover the cons. All the other reviews' pros are correct. However I have a very specific con that has infuriated me beyond belief. The Campaign Evolved has Insta-kill zones that do not encourage skull hunting or exploration, constantly dying because searching for skulls is just stupid and plain flat out not the spirit of Halo. The biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gripe I have is that the warthog flat out sucks because for some reason its like trying to drive a oiled up fat guy on a ice ring while being shot at can stop your vehicle and cause it to flip and the brakes don't work. Its like whoever decided to make the warthog doesn't even know how to DRIVE or ever driven a vehicle. Hell I get it, its an all terrain vehicle but its not supposed to be a slippery ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hockey disk on a buttered up ice ring that has a crazed fan group tossing popcorn at you making you 360 flip and 180 flip and crash into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall like a Mario kart banana peel that I'm sure nintendo is gonna look at and sue the ♥♥♥♥ for copying the same slip and slide mechanics. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, like the driving a warthog SUCKS SO MUCH. I don't get it. Whoever wrote the program on driving a freaking car, doesn't know how a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ car's friction and mobility works. it entirely sucks to drive a warthog on legendary while skull hunting on the last mission since EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THING makes your car CRASH into a wall, a flood with a pistol shooting at you is enough to make your dumbass warthog to slip and slide and flip and spin like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beyblade before crashing into a wall, and if you say just use the brakes, THE BRAKES DONT DO ♥♥♥♥. So why not drive slow? Sure, get shot at anyways and watch your warthog flip over like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ balloon being popped and watching it go zoom like a gmod prop with rocket attachments. Its not all the time, but it seems the last mission warthog is more prevalent to being ragdolled by a gmod physic.
