The Gameplay:
It plays like the original game with some slight tweaks. The game seems to be balanced a bit more to make it easier to kill individual enemies aka the Elites on there. However it seems Legendary was intended for 4 players, which I don’t mind. it makes it a touch heard during certain parts. No Multiplayer, No problem. My skins work in the co-op and that is infinitely better than having another Halo versus.
The Story:
It's the same story as Halo, but they touched up the cinematics to make it more book/lore accurate. If this is a replay of Halo, then this great. If it’s your first time, it’s a clean and cool classic story. It wins either way, they almost couldn't mess this up, but they managed to make it better.
The Visuals:
Let's be real this is like 95% the reason anyone would buy this game at this point and it does not dissapoint. Now the original Halo looks fantastic and now only Halo 3, and Reach look dated at this point. Oh and those cinematics are Key, Captain Keys if I may.
The Sound:
They did a fantastic job of adding in tiny miniscule attention to detail with the sound. This feels like the triple A game it was meant to be. It's clean, crisp and even has a bonus voice actor that brings out Captain Keys really well.
The Experience:
At first I thought this was completely pointless and a cash-grab (I mean it kind still is but I digress). We already have a Halo 1 remake, why remake it again? Well cause they decided to bring it up to Unreal Engine 5 visuals and it is a night and day difference. It was a remake that had little surprises that make the game all in all feel great. I can use some (lore accurate) guns from future entries and even play the library and not want to pull my hair out. It's a win/win. For intrinsic reasons I bout the game at full price and rarely do so, but I could say this would be worth it. That said, I can EASILY see it needing to be on sale for others to justify getting it, which is more than fair. Still recommend.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

the Cinematic cut scenes have been change to a point where I just skip it. Game play is buggy and a.i. enemies stand still, breaking the game play.
I have endlessly tried to get this game to run since it launched but it crashes before I can even kill a single Spartan. I have many many games that run without issue on this machine. I have tried to refund but because of all of my failed attempts, steam says I've played it too much for a refund. Now I have a brand new 60 dollar game that I cant do anything with. Worst purchase I have EVER made.
I Loved it!
i think in the end it is a good game, some issues, some bugs here and here but largly speaking, it has more hits than misses. if i were pressed to rate from a 1 to 10, it would be 7/10
Don't listen to the hate, there's a great remake here!!
Brings back happy memorys

Poor optimization, terrible audio bugs when using blue tooth audio devices, some stuttering, bad voice acting/cutscenes, some silly AI, and achievements are BUGGED/BROKEN. Thankfully the bones it's built on are so solid it's still a fun experience in CO-OP. Wait for a big sale if you have a buddy/brother. Otherwise pass on this one. They had to patch-in turning off chromatic aberration and film grain.....triple A gaming indeed...
